The plan is to finish up the point lever and then have a go at some Jubilee Track ( the one with the pressed metal sleepers ) Anyway here it is [a...

Re: Too much time wasted
Exactly that problem Kevin - I think the issue is that there is a minimum wheelbase / wheelsize. In maths terms I could see how that happens as the numbers start to get very small when dealing with rotations and radius measured in fractions of feet but expressed in 0.0000001 of a metre. I could see ...

Re: Too much time wasted
It is so frustrating to have got to within a gnats ********** of a fully functional wagon and then to discover a show stopper. Having spent quite a long time converting from TSM and discovering that 3DCrafter is ( whilst initially intimadating ) so so so much better at making complex shapes, then ha...

Re: Too much time wasted
Toys back in pram ... Using someother NG stock I have found there is a "critical limit" for the small-ness of wheels and shortness of wheelbase. With a 1 ft wheel diameter (0.1524m radius) the "physics" falls over - making the radius 0.25m in the "bogie_bluprint" seems to work. So far as I ca...

Too much time wasted
Well I have been trying to build some narrow gauge stock and ( like folks before me I suspect ) I have had to give up in frustration. Simply can't stop the wagons from tilting towards the coupling as soon as I speed up. I have changed just about everything and have come to the conclusion that skip w...

I finally have my first 3Dcrafter project working !!! Whe ha ! A skip frame in 2'3" Narrow which is a fairly accurate ( from drawings) of an Allen EeziTip Skip frame. Now to finish the job with some bodies.
Then onto a Hudson frame.

Re: Exporting Couplings
Thanks Chris I have those but they are a bit unclear as to if the couplings need to be created seperately - but I did so and after a bit of faffing about they work so thansk all
