Re: Blue Pullman
Hi Andy Yes I should have perhaps mentioned that speeding over 95mph causes an emergency brake application..... units didn't ever go above 90mph in use. (You can take this out.... or increase it) Without it I think I managed around 108mph on the level. However I've tested this and with quick reacti...

Re: Blue Pullman
Hi Andy No problem.... I was wondering why I hadn't had a reply. (There should be a button called reply at the bottom of a PM) A couple of people have asked similar questions .... they are not quick release. (I did quick release Vacuum on Gen1 DMUs) They are twin piped 110 psi .... takes the compre...

Re: Blue Pullman
Hi Jon. I have just recently purchased Don Hintons Burton-Derby V2 route, loads of steam, a few green diesels but something missing. Ah Yes of course The Blue Midland Pullman. So The only circa 2002 version available from MSTS is downloaded, Not too bad, I guess, it will do, There certainly wont eve...

Re: Steam Era Dorset
Hello everyone. Well first of all Please may I make it absolutly plain and clear, that I did not set out with the intention of rubbishing Steves work, indeed the more steam routes and activities the better, I mearly expressed concern about duplication, but take on board everyones comments, However I...

Re: Steam Era Dorset
Hello. whereas, I applaud the idea of creating a steam era for the Dorset coast. I am concerned about duplicating Rick Loaders New Forest route between Southampton and Bournemouth, which allready covers Southampton Docks, the Lymington branch and the Castlemans Corkscrew route at the moment to West ...

Re: One for the New Forest CD
Hi Danny. I have compared your screenshot with a side view photograph of a somewhat very grubby 75074 taken at Ashurst level crossing incidently, I can confirm that 75065 is therefore totally correct. The southern had the 75065 to 75079 batch, all were fitted with double chimneys and had type BR1B 4...

Re: NewForest Route (Watersnake) V2 Support
Downloaded the route again, and now have the trolley bus, so it is 2.1, still crashing though :( I'm running patch 1.16.5.912 (I think that's how you show it), as for the bell function, its a steam loco so there is no bell entry in the file. Rob Hello Rob. Could I suggest that you delete your versi...

Re: NewForest Route (Watersnake) V2 Support
Hello Robert. First of all, Thanks to Ross in Australia for the link to the "New roads V40" That has completly resolved the issue I had with the dirt roads, Leaving Southampton, Ashurst, Christchurch and between Ashley Heath and West Moors. Now, a rather silly question to ask, but do you have the "L...

Re: NewForest Route (Watersnake) V2 Support
I would like to put on record, my extreme thanks to Rick Loader for the Help and advice with Watersnake 2. The "After sales" Help and support is second to none. I just could not get anything to work, Plenty of Send dont send messages, Then came the spanned version which also managed to elude me. So ...

Re: Microsoft Train Simulator
It is possible to remove Microsoft Train Simulator "by hand" but it can be a long process and potentially dangerous if you remove something you did not intend! Using the Windows search facility will show you where all the pieces are. Far better to use the official Uninstall. But that will not neces...

Re: NewForest Route (Watersnake) V2 Support
Just to show you where this sort of thing can go, I finally broke down and just ordered from the UKTrainSim CD ordering page a copy of the BATS Southern Region. I was so doggoned impressed with Watersnake v.2, and it seemed like so many of the activities for this and other Southern routes called fo...

Re: NewForest Route (Watersnake) V2 Support
This route, for those of you reading this that haven't downloaded it yet, is, in my not-so-humble opinion, one of the two or three best UK routes ever done that attempts to capture the BR steam era. You won't find out-of-era objects in this route to jar your suspension of disbelief; the autos, buil...
