Hello Mike.
Yes I do have trainstore,
What do I change and where can I find it in Trainstore please? This might possibly solve a few issues.
Cheers

Re: Braking issues with Southeast Route (Diesel and Steam)

I have run the WAL Ashford To London Bridge act with loco 34082 both in MSTS and Open Rails. The MSTS version had no problem with the train getting up to line speed, I had to hold it back between Headcorn and Paddock wood to keep it below 85MPH No problem slowing down for Tonbridge or seven Oaks. O ...

Re: Braking issues with Southeast Route (Diesel and Steam)

Hi Andy, I don't think it's the routes causing these problems in OR, I believe it's the .eng/.wag files which need to be adjusted or re-written. Thanks Danny, but rather beyond my capabilities, I understand that there are people that have been able to run South east activities on OR. I was wonderin...

Braking issues with Southeast Route (Diesel and Steam)

Can anyone please tell me how to use the train brake correctly with open rails? I can not get the brakes to apply or release properly. I have tried two activities one being the DG The Hastings Line, At first arriving and departing Sevenoaks was no problem and I could apply and release the brake to m...

Re: South East (steam era)

Hi Gentlemen, I'm sure the problem with 45065 has been raised before because I've made the necessary amendment to my installation! The problem is with file : CCR_Cab_Panels_45065.ace which appears to be corrupt - it's a lot smaller than it should be. The solution is to copy the file out of the same...

Re: South East (steam era)

Hi Len/Ged/Danny. I have got 80014 on the Tonbridge Goods up and running :) What I did was to "Borrow" the cab view from one of Dave Robinsons Std Class 5s which is identical to the Britannia cabview. You of course also need to amend the three eng files to, Cabview ( Standard.cvf ) Sadly the activit...

Re: South East (steam era)

Hi Len. No I can't get 80014, 80043 or 80065 to load either, They appear to run OK in "A1" mode but not in driving mode. The only other Loco that does not work for me is black 5 45065 required for Erics two inter regional activities to and from Margate. I have even re-downloaded 45065 from the UKTS ...

Re: South East Steam AI Traffic Problem

I use 1.8 bin patch all of the time and fully recommend it, To be honest I had not realized that 1.8 solved the rotating wheels problem.
Where would we be without MSTS Bin?
Cheers

Re: Signal diagrams question

A couple more questions, if I may. [album 116932 unknownsignals2.jpg] What are the boxes I have circled above the colour light signals? Could they be two kinds of auxiliary semaphores" What is the significance of the T in a circle. It clearly does not refer to the termination of speed restriction, ...

Re: Signal diagrams question

[album 116932 unknownsignals.jpg] The picture shows an extract from the Signalling Record Society's diagram for Southall West Junction Box. I would be grateful if someone could clarify for me what the items I have circled in red represent, so that I can include the correct signalling in my MSTS rou...

Re: Southeast Activity problem

HI David. I think it is 3.00GB Ram. C:\1MSTS\launcher.exe -rungame. Too be honest I do not want to tinker around with things that I do not understand. For the sake of just one activity,As all the others work OK I can and have run 70004 on an alternative "Golden Arrow" so it is no very big deal. I do...

Re: Southeast Activity problem

Andy, Find your MSTS shortcut (the icon you click on to get MSTS started). Right click on it and then left click on Properties on the menu that appears. Then the screen will be just like the steam4me ones. How much RAM does your computer have? The mem switch should be set at half of it. For example...

Re: Southeast Activity problem

I don't know about a memory switch or if I even have one! That just might be your problem Andy. See http://msts.steam4me.net/tutorials/xtra_mem.html David. Hi David. Have taken a look at the Steam4me tutorials, it appears to refer to Windows XP. I do not have any of these screens showing on my comp...

HI David/Danny. The Bin Patch is 1:8, I don't know about a memory switch or if I even have one! I have windows 7 Home.
