Re: If Beeching had spared the Somerset & Dorset...
Nice job James. Certainly looks alot different to the default route and reminds me of how much railway has been lost over the years. Good luck with completing the route. :D Thank you :-) My time is limited, so it might take a while. I could do with some more clutter items, too. And I'll have to wor...

Re: If Beeching had spared the Somerset & Dorset...
True, thanks for understanding. Mine Is just Present Modern day, thats Using the GWML Track and is Double with loops and fast and slow line sections included. Ive also made some sections Higher than 70mph (mainly for HSTs), and the loops are for future freight use(In my opinion). But I've done all ...

Re: If Beeching had spared the Somerset & Dorset...
I had this idea first and started it orginally, now its been taken over so what Ive done is now useless and complete rubbish  . Ahh, I don't know when you first had the idea, but I didn't get the idea to do this from people on the board; I think that we both came up with the same idea independ...

I could do with that 158 for the hypothetical 1990s-era Somerset & Dorset conversion on which I am currently working... (screenshots here).

If Beeching had spared the Somerset & Dorset...
I have started work on a modified version of the included Somerset & Dorset route, depicting the route as if it had been rationalised, but not closed, by the Beeching cuts of the 1960s. My version of the route is set in the early/mid 1990s. I have so far completed Bath Green Park and the area up unt...

Re: Crash to desktop every time I try to load modified route
Only thing I can think of here is the scenarios, get rid of the whole smash. Delete the scenarios.bin and scenarios folder from your new route and start fresh, make one new free roam scenario with one driveable engine and see if it still does it. If you're altering a clone of an existing route it's...

C) It would be soooo great if the gizmo would turn with the object. Of course, as a programmer, I would press for the "solution" we have now - click on one arrow and exactly one of the three dimension values is changed. But as a modeller, what I need is a way to move the object forwards and sidewar...

Re: Crash to desktop every time I try to load modified route
I have found this problem to be very hard to track down, although my original theory is still a possibility. I removed all the destination boards, and then flew back to the other end of the track (for some reason, the area names had disappeared from the right-hand menu when copying the route: why on...

Re: Changing track rule on existing route?
Minimum radius and parallel spacing for doubletrack, along with switchstand type, are the only uses I can see. It CAN be done, first step like any hacking is to make a backup copy of the 76b3a3f0-c9b0-48f2-9eff-whatever-it-is\Networks\tracks.bin file. Open the tracks.bin file in RStoolsTMB, look fo...

Re: S&D Modernisation (Fictional) by myself!
Hi all, just a warning before I explain My Grammar isn't up to standards thus creating alot of writing: On the S&D line I was playing the Intercity HST that ''upsidedownbox'' reskinned, and I was thinking about what would happen if I made the line have a modern look?, would anyone like the idea of ...
