yes i have, i understand the .eng file had been somewhat tweaked.

33/1 and 4 tc because they can go very nearly anywhere, no need to run round, just change ends.

im not against virgin by any means, its the normal sort of thing that happening here, the trains being ready before the route is.

i wouldnt say they dont care about passenger comfort, safety, etc...
the new stuff will have a far better safety rating than a 47 & mk2 stock.

the other problem here is the operating costs to run a train, the new ones are a lot cheaper to run than HST's, they can probally run two new ones for the price of an hst, hst power cars are not, and have never been cheap to run. they will have to get it sorted before the summer timetable comes into...

thats right in a way, the main problem is fixed formation trains, look what happened on the western when during the summer to cornwall 13 of 14 coach trains were replaced with a 7 coach hst, the result was mass overcrowding. historically cross country have always had an overcrowding problem in some ...

i have the same sort of problem with the class 27 push-pull sets, there is a reason for this, there is a topic thread about it someware.
sometimes when i double head both locos do the same, other times it is just the leading one.

i agree, virgin at least encorage people to complain, which is more than the rest do, they will get there in the end, it my take a while though.

mixing the paint with sand will stop the kids from drawing on the walls i suppose
