Best Nvidia drivers for MSTS?

Hi guys. Just got a new Dell PC with an Nvidia 5200 card. Previouly been running a Radeon card for quite a while, so I just wondered which set of Nvidia drivers people reckoned was best for MSTS?

Haven't tried it yet, but according to the trainsim site you rename the s,sd,eng and wag files in order to overwrite the default version.

No worries - It would be for my personal use only. Of course that's assuming I can unravel the mysteries of Goldwave. Thanks guys.

Good isn't it? If MSTS2 is as good as this (Assuming we ever see MSTS) then we'll be ok. It's been around for a couple of years actually - This is the 2nd or 3rd version. btw does anyone know how to get the whistle from this sim into MSTS? It doesn't appear to be the usual wav file. USA steam on TV TONIGHT

For those into American steam. "Emperor of the North." BBC1 @ 12.30am. Loads of 1930's steam.

Train Store is quite useful for this - If you store every route and then unstore them all it still keep stored any stuff that's totally unused by any route.

I suppose I'm thinking of coal moving around and water sloshing in addition to the sounds you mentioned.

Steam Loco Tender Sounds

Just wondering - Does everyone use whatever default sounds come in a particular loco's tender wag file, or are there better alternatives that people use? - I can't really hear anything from any of mine and wondered if I could improve on this.

Regards, Nick.
