Re: TS2021 & WCML Euston to Birmingham
I've watched the reviews, I've read the reviews, I'm not going to get involved in the arguments. I'll stick with WCML South v 5.3 from ATS. It's my favourite route and I've never had any issues with it, so why worry about what DTG have baked up? Thanks to Alex55.

Re: Northern Lines Electric Route Release Stream 23/12/2019
Do not swear at me. I only stated what my opinion is about this forum, and you have confirmed this by resorting to bad language. My experiences in train simulator have been vastly improved by both freeware and payware, and the addition of ATS, AP and VP have enhanced the availability of high quality...

Re: Northern Lines Electric Route Release Stream 23/12/2019
This is the best thing I've heard all week. The problem with this forum is the the amount of bile for anything payware. It always amuses me because I've spent more on subscription payments to UKTS over three years than I have on ATS for one year, yet I've got a lot more content from the latter! You ...

Re: Northern Lines Electric Route Release Stream 23/12/2019
Looking forward to giving this route a try. I really enjoyed the previous non electrified offering and I'm sure this will be even better. Thanks for the hard work.

Re: BMG/AP Class 50 coming soon
This has to be the best loco AP has released on their website. Fantastic sounds, easy to master with entertaining scenarios. Indeed, it was so good, it made me spit my Sunday tea out all over my keyboard. 20 quid well spent, it's nice to be happy

Definitely not up to the standards of the wonderful Armstrong Powerhouse Wherry Lines, which had 44 miles of fantastic detail. My money will stay firmly in my pocket.

Re: AP Class 37 Pack Vol. 1
What is ridiculous is the amount of moaning that goes on in this forum. If you think it's too expensive or overpriced, don't buy it. Nothing in life is free, but if you think you're being ripped off, vote with your feet. I bought it, yes it's quite expensive, but I'm so glad I did. Nothing to compai...

Re: Class 390 TASS?
I've had the same problem with TASS on the the WCMLoS, where the speed limit jumps to a much lower speed limit momentarily before returning to line speed. It's an error with the route, but having the emergency brakes come on is a pain.

Re: NWC (175+221) AP Sound Patch
Lovely bit of advertising you have done there to TRY and get people intersted in the website. FYI 99 percent of the content on AT website is freely available on other websites such as UKTS. So for someone who has had an account for ove r1 year here and 17 posts you clearly have not been interested ...

Re: NWC (175+221) AP Sound Patch
I'm no fanboy of Alan Thomson, but by Jove he's done a good job with his website. I've paid me 30 quid and I'm as happy as Larry. This week I've had more fun out of TS than I've had for years because of it - loads of good scenarios and content, got me 30 quids worth already. Glad I've not had to res...

Re: Suggestions for future general AP enhancement packs
I'd very much like a Class 87 enhancement pack. I know there is already a soundpack, but it does not address the lack of functionality in the cab. It's a real old school brute and would benefit greatly - even more skill to tame the roarer.

Thank you very much, you're a star. I knew there was a fix somewhere, but a day of googling just got me nowhere. Have a good Christmas Chris!

Speed fix for RSC Class 87 Pack
Hello all and a happy Christmas. I was wondering if anyone knew where to find a patch to fix the top speed of the RSC version of the Class 87 pack. In default setting it starts to run out of juice at 80mph and inches slowly to a top speed of 100mph. As you all know, it should easily achieve 110mph p...

Re: Just Trains MML Sheffield to Derby
Yes, SECML is very old, before superelevation was invented, so you have to take that into account, plus despite the dodgy track and route instability, I do enjoy driving the Edinburgh to Newcastle ECML. However the there is no excuse for the Chiltern Mainline - a lack of superelevation and old asset...

Re: Just Trains MML Sheffield to Derby
I'm afraid I have to agree too with regards to the quality of Just Trains routes. My first purchase was Western Mainlines, and whilst the route was far from perfect, with bouncy track and jarring linear vegetation, it was forgiveable owing to the enormous scale of the route. Next up was Edinburgh to...
