Re: PC PSU went bang
My Corsair PSU went pop last year Steve and all was fine, luckily I managed to borrow one from a mates spare machine and try it first so I knew before ordering a replacement. As stated above apparently they are well protected so I'd think you'd be fine.

Re: AP Wherry Class 37 Sounds (copyable ?)
From memory some of the Vulcan Productions class 37 reskins utilise the Wherry Lines 37 sounds and cab, I know 37025 and I think the ROG ones do, check out the loco download page on their site.

Re: woodhead 76 error
Also get error messages when starting from drive menu, but the error messages are bogus as the train runs, the error messages are also present in the scenario editor and remain on the screen blocked the righthand flyout to access asset list, after playing the scenario and testing the crash seems to...

Re: woodhead 76 error
Are you starting the scenario directly from the editor ?
If so, exit the scenario and restart it from the game 'drive' menu and all should be fine.

Re: TS2019 will be 64 bit!
Screenshots don't seem to work , getting a momentary lag when the screenshot button or CTRL+S is pressed but no image up the corner or camera sound , No images found in my pictures folder either . Can anyone confirm ? Screenshots are working fine here. I can't see any improvements to be honest. Is ...

Re: TS2019 will be 64 bit!
Agree totally with the 'directional' in cab sound on some stock, though not all. I'm getting the directional effect on AP class 40 but not on the 56. Otherwise performance seems ok, a big difference in the scenario editor, not got it to crash as of yet.....

Re: Driving freight trains realistically
The stop isn't removable but is shaped so that the power handle can be pulled out slightly (it's pulled against a spring) and moved over it to click into notch 8 . Its been 8 years since I drove for the red (Red & gold) teams so the rules may of changed since then . Use of notch 8 was at the driver...

Re: Driving freight trains realistically
I have read earlier that at some point in time there was a restriction of the use of notch 8 in the class 66 because of sound issues (and/or fuel economy). So I was wondering if there exist any similar restrictions currently. Thats correct, EWS implemented the use of a removable 'stop' which preven...

Re: AP Class 40 - Throttle Lever Whistling Sound
As Holzroller states above, the sound of the 'regulating air' ( not 'control air' as stated previous - control air is what is supplied into the engine speeder valve under the power controller shaft, it then becomes classed as 'regulating air' from the speeder valve to the engine governor ) is more p...

Re: DTG Woodhead BR Blue Era
I seem to recall Reddish depot being open until Spring 1983 as I visited the place that March just before it closed its doors for the last time. I remember having a ride around the depot on none other than 40126 that very day. Class 506s were still being maintained there until then as there were a f...

Re: DTG Woodhead BR Blue Era
This might sound daft but for those struggling for speed with the class 76 , are you pressing the button on the power handle to enable you to select the weak field notches ?

Re: DTG Woodhead BR Blue Era
I know it is a while back now, but I am sure that the line was 4 track all the way from Ashburys to Guide Bridge in 1980/81, as I remember going train spotting to Guide Bridge in the school holidays and having my class 506 having a race with a class 40 on Tanks, we passed it and then it passed us a...

Re: DTG Woodhead BR Blue Era
Well, I was somewhat surprised to see this released today ! For the traction alone this route is well worth the money in my opinion. However, as someone who knows the route extremely well there are certainly a few 'problem areas' as already stated but hopefully these can be addressed in the future b...
