Very few of the 1374 are "local configuration files". I don't think the network congestion theory holds water. I can run several Verifies in a row and they're all clean. Then I run the game and then a Verify and I'm back to 1374. It would have to be a very strange coincidence that network congestion...

Unfortunately it was developed too late to make it into the release version but it was tested by the team anyway and it certainly worked.
