Re: Important information about SteamPipe
It can't be touching DLC as if it was then surely third party modifications and none steam content would have problems. Any conversion only seems to effect the base game films, not DLC.

Re: Kent High Speed - London St. Pancras to Faversham
Whilst the assets around St Pancras, including the station itself, might be useful for a future MML route, it would be a separate route not an extension as no trains can run from HS1 onto the MML. I think there is one line that links the Eurostar part of St Pancras to the MML, but it's only used by ...

SBHH when opening scenario editor
I've got a scenario that I'm almost ready to publish, but loaded the editor to do some last minute checking and refining. During this time I got a SBHH error. Nothing new there, and I'd been saving changed as I made them anyway. Problem is, since then if I try and open the editor I get SBHH. I can o...

Re: Would you pay subscription to view Youtube?
Depends on what they are charging me to see and how much? From the sound of it it will be just like other pay-per view services where youtube pays license holders for the right to show their material, and then charges users to watch it, therefore much of it will depend on how much they charge in rel...

Re: Important information about SteamPipe
Mines installed and working. Reskins are fine (my AP FCC 377s are safe). Now just have to re-install the soundpacks. Then again, do we know they would be changed anyway? Mine are gone from a previous cache verification, and I waited a few days to re-install just in case there was another "update", t...

Re: Convert Timetabled Scenario to Standard Scenario
Thanks, I'll give it a try.
One of those annoying things with Railworks where they say Timetabled aren't supported anymore, hence why workshop won't accept them, but still give the option to create a timetabled scenario in the editor.

Re: Important information about SteamPipe
Has anyone who's installed it found problems with their third party content, including third party mods like AP soundpacks and reskins? Just concerned that if it's converting things to a new format then third party stuff much not be in the correct format anymore.

Convert Timetabled Scenario to Standard Scenario
Is there any way to turn a Timetables Scenario into a Standard Scenario without going all the way back to the beginning. I've got a number of scenarios that i've been working on that I set as Timetabled (thinking it might work better as they are fully timetabled using real times), but when I've trie...

Re: 18.5GB STEAM UPDATE?
When did you last go on steam? Tuesday night there was a large "update" that removed quite a bit of content, but people effected found that verifying the cache on Wednesday returned everything. Not sure if this is another similar problem, or if the original problem will just effect everyone as they ...

Re: Another update, or download.
The government will tax it soon too, what with the fact that it can be used for fuel and energy, and the fact that it's potentially harmful (skin cancer, eye damage etc).gptech wrote:Us poor lot in the North of England have to pay to travel to find sunshine.......jevon wrote:and nothing is free except sunshine.

Last nights update - what happened?
Starting a new thread because the other one isn't getting off topic so much as has started to focus on another topic to what I'm talking about here. Seems tidier having two threads diverging in their own directions instead of one going back and forth. Now the dust seems to have settled on whatever h...

Re: Another update, or download.
Well, after a long verification it found loads of files missing and downloaded them. All previously missing trains and their associcated scenarios are back. The scenarios themselves were showing errors, but a clear cache solved that. Still not happy that a loss of DLC has occured again, particularly...

Re: Another update, or download.
Someone in another thread is talking about some major updates to a number of routes, yet also missing AWS (which to them is a good thing, but I'm sure most would disagree). RSC on their facebook are as usual selectively ignoring posts related to the update (yet replying to the easy questions). Will ...

Re: Another update, or download.
Why do they keep doing this without any announcement? I think Steam is a great platform however I also think its scary how files disappear. I am really interested in purchasing some the the AP sound packs but would Steam just delete them after an update?. You would think RSC would put something on ...
