Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
Why not give the route it's own texturing blueprint?---better than adding a texturing entry to the default file. It could be just a straight copy of the default, with whatever additions come along. This was actually what I'd got in mind  Something similar to the way you helped me with the ori...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
Thanks to Steve, I've got the procedure for changing the trackbed sorted for both versions. What remains is the "sky" & "weather" theme swap ! Now knowing how to do it, the question is, which route to plunder ? Looking at the required DLC, WCMLTV is the newest and also one of the main requirements f...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
Of course Andy 8) Thanks :) One question, I made a modded "trackbed" texture file for my own use which I felt was a little better than the pebbles dark one currently used. Could this be implemented using the same method ? It should work ok, just change the path in the .bin file to wherever your tex...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
Hi Alex55 Reading one of your replies to an earlier post, (as I was also missing some Tunnel Walls etc in occasional places) , I thought I would check to see if I had any of the files you advised should be in the set up... I do have the ECMLS Moorgate Extension installed, and have had since last ye...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
The updated ballast idea sounds good Steve. I take it that the two bits of code that you attached need to be put somewhere - could you tell me where? Cracking route by the way, feels very professionally constructed. Really well done to Alex and Photons. AP Track ballast mod: https://drive.google.co...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
This looks interesting Steve :) I had thought about it, but wasn't sure if it could be done (every day is a learning experience) The AP tweak patch included in the download does raise the track by 0.06m, this seemed to be a good compromise and produce a the best results with associated scenery objec...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
As usual I am a bit late to the party on this one but decided this afternoon it was time to sort it. I had most of the requirements already including all the payware so relatively straightforward to put in the missing bits. Installation instructions were concise and clear. I set up a quick drive wi...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
For the Bakerloo junction sections you will need: Dark_Conc_texblock.bin for the roof, floor and and "sraight" walls (found in WCMLv5\Scenery\Clutter) BL_Jnc_Wall.bin "loft" for the curved walls (found in WCMLv5\Scenery\Procedural) Looking at your photo you may need to also copy Tunnel_5b.GeoPcDx i...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
20180903150903_1.jpg I have just re tested the batch file and it worked correctly on my setup. I'll wait to see if the problem is solved when you try a manual file copy over, but It would be interesting to know why the batch file isn't doing it's job on your setup ? Ok,I have tested and the tunnels...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
Great route, one of the best freeware to date. However, can anyone tell me how I can swap out the old out dated Kuju "Sky Dome" and weather system/lighting system for a modern modern one seen in routes like Liverpool - Manchester and South London Lines? Thanks! I think GPTech will be your man for t...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
The tunnel walls and ends on the Bakerloo underground section use Xsec's and Geo's copied from the TBT assets folder (part of the ECML South - Moorgate Extension route) during the batch process. It would do no harm to try running the batch again. OK , thanks a lot . At least I know where to look. I...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5
This is a fantastic route. I've got a problem with the tunnels (between the stations) missing on the southern underground sections of the Bakerloo Line . Yes I do have the ECML South Moorgate extension V4 with its TBT tunnels. It may be because the only thing that RwTools says I am missing ( apart ...
