Re: Crossing fatality
Note allways, there have been instances where by manual gates have been struck (or allmost struck) by trains.jbilton wrote:Hi
At least when they were manual gates.... you knew if you'd closed them..... and if you hadn't the drive would notice them.

Re: Crossing fatality
The report from BBC Midland reports that the barriers were down for a few minutes but no train arrived. The barriers then raised, cars started to cross and two were hit by the train. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/check/england/realmedia/midlandstoday/midlandstoday?size=16x9&bgc=C0C0C0&nbram=1&b...

Re: Wishlist
The thing with placing track workers in the sim is you would have to be careful where you place them. You couldnt put them actually on any of the lines doing work as they would get in the way of activites. As far as my "wish list goes" I think its pretty much taken care of by MT. These being the GBR...

Re: New Route WIP: East Anglia ***UPDATE 25/06/09***
Thanks for all the kind comments and support. The reason why the project has stalled is bascily becuase of the recently announced extension to the already great GE route by MT. I could never get anywhere near the level of realism, detail and accuracy these guys can get so I see little point in compe...

Re: DB Stobart derailment in Highlands.
Reading several log items, it is understood that the train concerned had no braking capacity (for whatever reason, though compacted snow on braking equipment is a possible issue) approaching a distant signal that was "On". The train then subsequently passed the next signal at danger derailing on tra...

Re: How to chane to the back of the Train ?
You will need to install the Bin patch to get that feature, be aware tho that the rolling stock has to be specificly set up to allow that feature of the patch to work.
Have a look in the Bin forum for more info.
