I've never been on any of the routes so I don't know what is correct and what isn't. I'm more interested in which of the routes gives the best immersive experience; i.e. which feels most like you're actually on Austrian railways? Does that change your recommendations?

Which of their routes would you say has the most convincing scenery?

Any idea which route was used for that image? I think the track work looks good.

Has the lack of a cab light and the self-illuminating nature of the cab in tunnels etc been dealt with in this new pack? Also, do the injectors now produce steam in external view?

I've got the original sound pack and I'm looking for a justification to upgrade.

I'm surprised DTG want a competing version of the Clan class on Steam, but more choice for users.

Both are sufficiently different in price and features to justify their place in the store.

I was asking why in QD I can be on AC, switch to DC and yet still drive as if in AC.

Thanks for the advice. Yes, 25KV will become active if you hold down the reset button for a couple of seconds and wait for the line light to illuminate. Interestingly, once 25KV has been selected I can't get the loco to switch back to 750V DC. Dropping the panto and pressing reset make the 25K light...

Thanks for the advice, but this is what I've been doing. The 25k light is illuminating. I assume the train should now be energised?

My initial process is as follows: Raise panto (if fitted) and press reset button until 25K light illuminated + outside view to check panto up. Press S + F to unlock reverser and get AWS test. Move reverser to forward (W + F if needed). Release brakes Release DVD Move accelerator into notch 1, check ...

FCC 3 car drives as above.

Southern 3 car works correctly, travels at 75mph, even if it is powered by fresh air, as only equipped for 3rd rail which doesn't exist on ECML!

BR blue/grey 3 car won't start in AC, but will in DC. Once moving can change to AC and travel at 75 mph.

Sorry not sure why it's doing that. I just did a Quick Drive on ECML L-P and once I had read the manual to get the thing going it shot off and got up to 72mph before I stopped the run. And I did not do any of the notching up - I just took the brakes off and went straight to notch 4 Peter Re-install...

I was driving it in 25KV AC. Also tried 750V DC. Both gave similar performance. Top speed about 40.5 mph, amps down to about 15, accelerator in weak field (i.e. top notch).
