Re: RSSLO sale
Is the Karawankenbahn well simulated and a good drive? Videos I've seen of it suggest there's a lot of single line running.

Re: Armstrong Powerhouse Mk1 Brakes - fixed
Have you reported what you've found to AP? It would be helpful if you did as it might lead to a universal fix of the problem.

Re: Graphics Settings to Reduce Night Time Glare
Removed lens flare and ambient occlusion, but no improvement. The current route with problems is Munich - Rossenheim.

Graphics Settings to Reduce Night Time Glare
Some routes suffer badly from glare/luminance on some objects after sunset or at night. This can make speed signs unreadable and give horrible building glints off the setting sun or certain lights. Is there any way of adjusting this in game, or out of game with graphic card settings? I have an nvidi...

Except that the immature idiots are customers or potential customers. I think Caledonia Works needs to review his posting style on social media. Posting exaggerated and critical comments of your customers' behaviour in public (such as reported above) is only going to inflame the situation and create...

Maybe because in play they're not much different from a Class 27?USRailFan wrote:Oh, and how could I forget: A Class 26. A mystery why one still haven't been done after all these years given how fairly common they were and remained in use until the early 90s.

Re: Have you bought anything in the Steam Sale?
Yes, I bought Trainz 2019 as well, but got it refunded. It seemed to have a lot going for it, but I couldn't get acceptable frame rates on my coal powered computer.rfletcher72 wrote:Yes. Trainz

BR 8P Duke of Gloucester. It was produced by a third party in the past. DTG have the files, but have never re-released it.
Such a shame, the most advanced and powerful steam loco to have run in the UK.

I've found adding RW Enhancer gives plenty of crashes. Disabling it stabilises things.

Re: Great Customer Support
I'm reminded of the thoughts of a worker in an electronics store from 25 years ago.
"Customers with a valid complaint are nearly always polite. We help them. Customers who don't have a valid complaint are usually rude. We wind them up."

I watched the Q&A session on Twitch and I was astounded. Matt P and and colleague must have both seen the questions in advance and probably rehearsed to an extent what would be said, but Matt's demeanour suggested he was uncomfortable with much of what he was saying. On the one hand there was honest...

I find their Swiss routes rather sterile. Switzerland is a clean and tidy place, but even they can't stop structures weathering.

Re: DTG Gathering outstanding issues for TS2020
I was amused by the request for each poster to list the ONE thing they most want changed, and the way some people interpreted this as an invitation to list six or seven things they wanted changing! It was also interesting to huge diversity in what matters to people. It just goes to show the many dif...
