Not that I'm aware of. As you say, ticking the box only seems to apply if you're driving it. I've tried to figure this out in the past but haven't come up with a solution that works.

Mike.

Re: Train Simulator 2016 Coming September 17th.
FYI, I don't think the TS2016 available at greenmangaming is the "Steam Edition", so it doesn't include this: Plus, TS2016: Steam Edition also includes the Norfolk Southern Coal District route, the beautifully rural Mon Line running through the heart of Pennsylvania, USA. which may or may not be of ...

Re: Hi...Help needed please
As for going beyond Q1, if you are new to creating scenarios I would recommend the Matt Peddlesden youtube videos as they cover the very basics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MlDHGyinKs (the link is to part 1 - there are 3 of them) He also has another video covering LUA scripting basics, which is...

Re: Recorded Messages
Rudolf, I'm not sure that I understand what you mean. All the _G function is doing is letting you use custom text and a variable to execute a function, rather than statically specifying the function name. So for example, if an event gets triggered from the scenario called "Test" it will then call th...

Re: Recorded Messages
Sounds good Rudolf, I look forward to seeing the updated version. I have v0.2 and I've found it quite interesting and helpful. rcdevisser (and whoever else is interested), I wrote a little script that should suit your needs, I just wanted to test it to make sure it works before I put it out there. T...

Re: Recorded Messages
There is a small tutorial page on railworksamerica about getting extended dialogs working which might be a good start if you haven't done this kind of thing before: http://railworksamerica.com/images/GX_Tutorials/ExtendedDialogs.htm I'd suggest getting that part working in your scenario first. You c...

Re: Screen shots
Hey there, I had issues with this as TS seems to limit the number of pictures it can display as the main one for your scenario. There is a workaround that I found: 1) Take a picture within the game (any picture, doesn't matter) 2) Exit Train Simulator 3) When you come back to steam, a message should...

Re: Uncoupling fails at destination
Well, I played around with this and I discovered that you can't place a marker (destination / siding / or whatever type) on top of another marker. The exception being something different like a stopping point. As you can't remove route created markers for a particular scenario (and yes, I understand...

Re: Uncoupling fails at destination
Keith, Yes, that could be cause of the issue. The yard I'm doing the scenario at has split siding markers so the consist (being very large) goes over both A and B siding markers. There doesn't seem to be an issues with coupling (as it always works) but it's just the uncoupling that appears to be qui...

Re: Uncoupling fails at destination
Hi Tobias, Did you end up working out what the cause of this uncoupling issue was? I looked up this post because I'm currently having the same issue with one of my scenarios I'm creating. At first I thought I must have referenced the wrong numbers for the carriages to uncouple but I've double and tr...
