It's a bit off topic but I'd like to add to the priase for CC South, It's the only thing I've played oh my PC that felt like being on a strech of railway in the UK. I really wish there were more UK BVE routes like that.

BVe seems a good starting point, the birmingham cross country route recreates the feeling of travelling on the UK mailline better than anything I've seen on Msts or trainz a lot of the work reguarding physics and signalling seems to have been done already.

I seem to remember a community sim was a large part of the old verns rail page/crotrains forums and the idea was brought to an abrubt halt by the release of MSTS. It seems the ideal sim that everyone craves would involve elements from Trainz, BVE, SLS and MSTS, get shopping

Has aBA commercial version of Mideast been considered? Or is it simple too big to have the scenic standards of something like L2B?

With respect to the forums, if it is taking up too much of your time Matt why not pass the moderation duties onto a willing voluenteer? (Not sure how many people would wish to accept to poisoned chalice), but it would alway you to spend less time on forum admin and more time on less stresful things :)

If found the physics a little odd, theres that shunting scenerio (thats crashes after the first step), you try notch one the shunter doesn't move, ditto notch 2, put it on notch 3 the thing leaps forward, so hmm ok now it's started obviously I notch down and it keeps its momentum err no it just coas...

Hmm, how about a passenger for the tender facing backwards? I personally would use this a lot more than the passenger view in the carriages. I also guess it's too obvious and there's a reason why it hasn,t been done
