Re: PC Upgrade
Looks pretty good, but I'd go with what gptech said.

Re: Steam Summer Sale
DON'T DO IT! Don't save money! I'd just like to point out, whilst I think any sale is great, you're not actually saving money if you wouldn't have originally bought it. I need the EWS Class 66 to run certain scenarios properly and for the reskins (AI traffic, etc), but even if it goes on a 75% disc...

Re: Increasing memory allocation for TS2014
You could try: junking the Windows swap file if that doesn't work and you have an application that has a hissy fit if a swap file isn't configured try setting both minimum and maximum values for it's size to 4GB I'll give that a go soon :) I know this is a daft question, but you are running a 64bit...

Increasing memory allocation for TS2014
Is there any way to do this? This is what happens when your computer runs out of memory to display the textures. I noticed that Richard mentioned that the sim can run out of memory in another thread, and with myself having some issues at present, I was wondering whether upping the allocated memory c...

Re: No icon for TS2014 / Crashing frequently after update
To keep this thread up-to-date: I just finished another exam today so I hopped on TS as a reward :D It would seem that the main issue is surrounding consists that are too long. I'm having a lot of issues with AP's JXA/POA Pack and getting that to run. I can't even get it to work with just 10 POAs, a...

Re: steam loading
Just like deltic said, purchases made/activated through Steam are tied to your Steam account, not your laptop, so you can log onto your Steam account on any PC/laptop and download any game or dlc you've ever purchased through Steam.

Follow the advice posted above by EasilyConfused and Alanch, and also take a look at Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for protection in the future. I'd also advise trying to find out which program this installed along with, as often if a program developer is willing to allow malware in his/her program inst...

Default QD Consists and Scenarios work, it's just 3rd party content and some custom QD consists that don't work.gptech wrote:What happens if you try a default QD scenario with a default QD consist?

Re: No icon for TS2014 / Crashing frequently after update
Basically you're missing a track rule---or the game is being told to look for a track rule in the wrong place--or the game is looking for a track rule that you're not missing because it doesn't exist. What route was this on. and was it an *official* QD scenario? It was on GEML London - Ipswich and ...

Here's what LogMate shows after the sim crashes while loading a quick drive: http://pastebin.com/TWjmbG8T
I've pastebin'd it so that this thread doesn't have a massive post in it.

Re: No icon for TS2014 / Crashing frequently after update
Hey guys, Since the patch on Monday, I've noticed that my TS is crashing a lot on many routes, such as GEML and London to Faversham, and also has no icon. Is this a known issue with a quick fix? Regards, - Matt It's known now, but as for a quick fix....the official advice would be to verify but tha...

Re: RSC/DTG New Route?
('Spoor' is dutch and means railway ) cheers, jan Spoor means track, and spoorweg means railway or literally track way, also spoorbaan. Spoor means just about the same thing in English, they borrowed a lot from the Dutch/Vlaams :) Your quote messed up a bit there; it was Javiz who wrote that, not m...
