I think you mean 47714. 47814 was "Totnes Castle" which was converted to a Virgin 57 at the end of 47's on XC's...

I'm just dreading the last day 37's and 47's run on the rail network  I thought the 47's bowed out back in August 2001! Where to mark the last day of them running, a number of different liveried 47's were running including BR Blue, BR Green, and Police livery. You mean the 19th August 2002 how...

I for one enjoy my photography, and do try different locations frequently, even if they are more local and on the SWT network, but i am more than willing to pop off to another area, such as the GWML, Didcot has my interest at the moment. Didcot's one of my fave locations aswell.. bet it isn't what ...

Erm, I really don't understand these Anti-Pendolino people. I'd rather travel in style than on an old train that looks like it was made in the 1970's - wait a minute! They WERE made then. If you want old trains, then tough, lol - things change, get used to them :P (Although saying that, I wonder wh...

Exactly. Most 14 years olds use phones a lot, and seeing as my phone has a camera feature... I'm not a serious train spotter, I travel around a lot, so instead of hanging around waiting for a train, I take pictures and videos instead. Well I was using a proper camera from the age of 8 and if your n...
