Re: K1 problem in 64 bit !

Is the 14xx still broken regarding driving from the Autocoach? I have the problem whether in Standard or Advanced Mode. I have the SSS sound pack, but uninstalled it temporarily to make sure that wasn't the problem. In the Autocoach cab, the reverser cannot be moved (it resists being moved and jumps...

Re: Duplicate Installations on C: Drive

Short answer, yes. Just deleting them will not harm your Railworks installation on the SSD, but if you rely on them to uninstall, you will lose that option (doesn't matter to me, but some live by it) Some of the SSS entries maybe be from their old style of installation where it unpacked into dummy d...

Re: K1 problem in 64 bit !

Could the fix(es) not also be released here on UKTS as patches, given that a DTG update could take a long while to appear? As stated above, Smokenox has done this in the past via RWA, and I believe Waggonz have done it here in the past

I'm guessing that the fix is a revision to the scripting?

Re: TS2019 64 bit Tips and questions

Is it just me, or is everyone's menu now silent? The old system of using an audio file in Kuju/RailSimulatorCore/Audio seems to have been abandoned, and though I haven't spent too much time on it, I haven't worked out what the setup is now. I had previously reinstalled an older sound file of diesel ...

Maybe it's a flaw in the scenario, not a 32/64-bit issue?

Re: TS2019 will be 64 bit!

I've just installed and run the audio.bat file and now ts2019 crashes on startup show 0.0000005 access violation. contact dtg.kayako.com. which i am doing. Same happened to me, but then I ran 64-bit from the Steam Library menu (right click on Train Simulator), and it now works fine including from t...

Re: Help needed in repainting stock

sounds like the difference between _nm and _nmc textures. Sometimes reskins are created with both versions the same, which can show up if the lower res compressed version (_nmc) is cloned as the _nm version. Check if both versions are the same file size

Re: Pausing without the pause menu showing

Just a thought - try going into the Windows Control Panel and checking that the keyboard is set up for UK settings, as the default is often American which can cause some keys to behave differently to what's expected. Can't be that, I have US keyboard, and no problem using Pause without the on-scree...

Re: WCML & the Midlands V5

If it helps whittle down the criteria for having a tree, I am NOT using AP track enhancement, and DO have Hamburg/Hanover. And no tree shows regardless of whether I have Procedural Fauna turned on or off.

Re: ScotRail DBSO?

I think I have just about every permutation produced out there, all stored in a folder "to be sorted out", but have never successfully combined them to produce the correct end result. Nattydredd's ScotRail textures need some tweaking (principally extending the top white band to the front, but no big...

What do you actually need help with? How to use the editor? How to get into it? How to unlock it? How to get to that location within the route? In general, use of the World Editor is a massive subject and there are manuals (official guides) and various videos made by enthusiasts to help. Frankly, it...

Re: Problem: UK TrainSim downloads - Help Please.

You will find stuff in the UKTS library for various products, including MSTS, Trainz, and Open Rails. But there is a huge library for our very own Train Simulator. They all carry the banner Train Simulator 2013 but don't worry, the label just hasn't been updated. If you are using the search facility...

Re: TS2018/19 - Why is there always a problem

Absolutely as Ash says, he beat me to it! I also have all those backups documented in a spreadsheet so that I know what they are, why they were done, and where to find them! Anal? . . . yes! But invaluable in a crisis? . . . absolutely! A file verification of the installation is actually very destru...
