sounds like the difference between _nm and _nmc textures. Sometimes reskins are created with both versions the same, which can show up if the lower res compressed version (_nmc) is cloned as the _nm version. Check if both versions are the same file size

Just a thought - try going into the Windows Control Panel and checking that the keyboard is set up for UK settings, as the default is often American which can cause some keys to behave differently to what's expected.
