i might have a go at building the metrolink now that i have a bit of spare time. steve n had a skeleton version which he sent out to someone but nothing has been heard since.

i think i have the issue with the ground transport interchange. worrying fact- i actually have access to the monarch engineering hangar and have been in the cockpit of many an aircraft. one of them which had just come in was catered up. you can guess what the engineers had for dinner...

sounds wrong to me. the caldervale section will remain a heavy rail route. the stations from new hey onwards will be new hey, milnrow, kingsway, rochdale railway station, wet rake gardens and rochdale bus station. there will be no metrolink to castleton, mills hill etc.

most unusual working at my local station was an arriva service running on time! no lie! seriously, although not my local station i did see a nice blue 47 at man picc a few months ago, it was working the last few loco hauled virgin services and looked great.

as i work at a haulage depot this will be easy i think. depends what security reckon (it's like big brother there). do you want double deck 40 ft trailers, single deck 40 ft and 30 ft or just 1 type? want a shunting unit too? i'll try my best to get some pics of a tractor unit and trailer together b...
