an example of these can be seen at Hebden Bridge station on the Caldervale. the maroon is more of a mid claret on the slightly weathered versions but i don't think there would be too many complaints if the shade was slightly out.

i have an interesting story to tell. when i lived in germany i lived next to a military railway line which was used in ww2 to transport jews to belsen concentration camp which was 6 miles away. on certain nights a train can be heard approaching at around 1130 but never seen. the noise gets louder un...

just took a look at it dave, to me it seems that the gauge is ok, the wheels sit nicely above the rails. that's the problem-they sit quite a bit above the rail instead of on them, any way i can sort that?
