Re: Just Wondering?
I suppose that leafs me with no option but to grasp the nettle, it would seem that I need to simmer down and stop peppering you all with questions, so that we can all just have anise time. All that is left for me to say is thanks for all your replies and apologies for getting caraway with this sorre...

Re: Just Wondering?
Well, now the ball's rolling! Yes Bob, that's the spirit, just the sort of reply I was looking for  . The problem is we have had the plant for some time now and had become quite attached to it, we are currently waiting to see if it survives. I was wondering what the half life of screen wash is ...

Just Wondering?
Hi all, I had a minor incident today and was looking for some advice. Fate conspired to 'make' me pour approximately 4 litres of diluted screen wash into our only rosemary plant, can anyone suggest what repercussions there may be and whether or not I will still be able to use the rosemary to season ...

Re: A Long Shot!
OK, so I lied about the last one thing   Nice one Richard! You are bang on with the Sheffield - Blackpool North, sadly we only ever did it from Masbrough to Sheffield, I would have liked a bit more tractor clag of a Saturday. I think the 20's on the Skeg would have been around 1986, I th...

Re: A Long Shot!
Ooooh! my memory is slowly returning............I also remember a working, usually a 45/0, which for some reason didn't stop at Donny but did stop at Mexbrough and I think was on it's way to Portsmouth via Sheffield, also in summer there was a tractor bash available (on the out and about) it came in...

Re: DTG's Class 56
Hi Guys,
Please excuse my (sizeable) ignorance, but is this, like the Western a reworking of a certain developers model or is it a new version of an RSC model? The reason I ask is that the 56 I currently own has obviously looped engine sounds which drive me insane!

Re: A Long Shot!
I did the exact same moves myself Andy. At one point it was the 1106 from Leeds that was shunted onto the 0950 Newcastle - Poole (don't have the headcodes to hand). But later on, I remember it being a portion that ran in from Hull. It was memorable in that the working into Sheffield called at Thorn...

Re: DTG Class 20
We'll see how good this one is as I'm interested in a class 20 but the JT one just doesn't appeal to me much. The JT class 20 is one of the best loco's in the sim. The cab is sublime, exterior model spot on and with AP sounds it's pretty much perfect. RSC will have to pull off something miraculous ...

A Long Shot!
Hi all, I have an issue which for no particular reason has been niggling me for a while. I remember in the mid eighties getting quite a bit of 08 haulage at Sheffield. What happened was the service I was on from Doncaster used to arrive in on platform 8, at which point everyone was supposed to disem...

Re: Sheffield Station
Hi Chris,
Are you planning on using DEM data on the route, if so it is better to do that before you start laying track etc. Apologies if I am stating the obvious.
