Re: AP Class 175 EP being removed.
Wow, AP Deniers are easily triggered aren't they? You can't buy the Class 175 to which the original EP relates, so they're updating it so that people who've just got the unbranded route/dlc can buy the EP too. AP always look after their existing customers, this will be a free update for us. Note "C...

Re: AP Class 175 EP being removed.
sorry but the last part confuses me ???? "We hope for it to return soon in an updated form, which will function with the recently re-released South Wales Coastal route." Isnt it the same 175 DTG have used when creating the welsh routes so i fail to see how this would be the need for the AP pack to b...

Re: Class 87 coming from Waggonz
…….with a new product again. Somebody's got to say it, and it might as well be me who upsets all and sundry... why would we need a new 87?...what's wrong with what we have? Every time we have a "wishlist" poll in here the early AC electrics come out as being something everybody would be pleased to ...

Re: Rivet Games Suburban Glasgow Northwest - Springburn-Helensburgh
I meant route builder as in general such as Garl, Trent valley From the Trent Valley manual: "This route was developed in partnership with Keith Ross, the developer of many other Train Simulator routes including the West Coast Mainline and Western Lines of Scotland. The fidelity we have achieved wo...

Re: Rivet Games Suburban Glasgow Northwest - Springburn-Helensburgh
Alan Thomson who is the route creator used to be under Thomson interactive and other development names iirc but is now part of rivet games. Alan Thomson is not the route creator; that would be Iain Mackay Rather than Alan Thomson being part of Rivet, think more along the lines of co-founder and pre...

Re: Rivet Games Suburban Glasgow Northwest - Springburn-Helensburgh
Hi Gary I wondered this too ? Maybe you could explain who the two different Thomsons are ? Thanks Derek Alan Thomson on YouTube is a streamer who owns the other website similar to ukts that has a subscription based system in place with exclusive content who subscribe as well as freeware section. Al...

Re: Rivet Games Suburban Glasgow Northwest - Springburn-Helensburgh
If my understanding is correct (and, cue the usual caveat that it may well not be), Rivet Games is merely the latest incarnation of Totalize Media/Thomson Interactive/Alan Thomson, and given their track record (boom-tish) of Scottish routes (GARL, Edinburgh-Glasgow, West Highland Extension) this is...

Re: Rivet Games Suburban Glasgow Northwest - Springburn-Helensburgh
Hi Guys Just a word of warning... If the scenarios included with the route are the same as those on the freeware route, and they have not been edited...then MANY of them will require you to drive at breakneck speed in order to maintain time. And some will get you a big fat "X" however fast you driv...

Re: Rivet Games Suburban Glasgow Northwest - Springburn-Helensburgh
Hi, just tried the career scenario " Clydeside Direct". It ran all right except when coming into a platform wherein the signal at the far end was red, for instance the last stop. Just creeping in at 15mph and as soon as the lead carriage passed the end of the platform the Emergency brake was automa...

Re: Rivet Games Suburban Glasgow Northwest - Springburn-Helensburgh
Aren't they career mode scenarios? AFAIK it's impossible to "fail" those as in getting a red X, you just get points deducted? I remember testing around 20 plus scenarios for the route when it was freeware. To the best of my knowledge these were supplied to me by the route developer for beta testing...
