Eddie,
There's a Greater Britain, a Dreadnought & a Jumbo in the works.
Your Claughton should really have 57' stock. Somewhere I have drawings for 12 wheel WCJS coaches - now they really would look good.
regards
Richard

The last chapter has been added.
It covers snaps, viewports etc. & ends with Levels of Detail.

Locos wouldn't have run on another companies lines unless running powers had been agreed. What is common in model railways would have been unknown. The wagons were logged by the Railway Clearing House, don't know exactly how it worked, apparently they logged 70,000 wagons daily. The idea was that wa...

or even Pwllheli. Did all the Butlins locos find their way to preserved lines? Apart from the Terrier wasn't there a King - or was that Bulmers? & a Duchess. Loading a loco onto a well wagon would have meant the use of a crane - can't see that! Would the con rods of an inside cylinder loco be discon...

Paul, Locos would have been towed, probably next to the train engine to provide braking. I suppose that motion would be disconnected if possible, this would have been easier with outside cylinders. I don't think selling locos out of company was that common, locos from outside manufacturers probably ...

xpte, I've made one for 10000, purely to have 4 exhausts. The model itself is 2 polygons with transparent texture. The only problem with it - it causes havoc with the speed prediction - goes wildly between 0 & 250mph!! Obviously it's a clash in the .eng file. The file on trainsim is similar but set-...

Jonathan, Search on this site, on train-sim.com & steam4me for long & exhaustive discourses. If you're tempted with 3dCanvas try the free download first before you pay for the full version. 3dCanvas won't work on my computer; I know others have had problems. If only for this reason Gmax wins. You ca...
