Re: Midland Line: Aikens - Springfield Route released

Oops. I found the extra scenarios - under "Standard". But still no logos that I can see. Hi John, with regards to the "Logos", I also thought the same thing, but after doing some research yesterday, I discovered that the Loco's supplied, in the year of the route, never had any logos at all, ...

Re: Midland Line: Aikens - Springfield Route released

I have been unable to get the tail lamps at the rear of the train to "Light" . I have tried all the normal things like "H" or just the lamp icon and read the manual. Roland. I decided to send a message to Stefan at the TSNZ Facebook site and received the following explanation with regards to the ta...

Re: Midland Line: Aikens - Springfield Route released

Roland That's highly unusual. What are the vibrations like? Strong/weak? Fast/slow? Are you hearing noises at the same time? Do they sound like a device fan? Hi, The vibrations I did get were a mixture of medium strength like when running over the centre line of a highway with trucking Simulator us...

Re: Midland Line: Aikens - Springfield Route released

To clarify, if I try to install using Utilities I get the zero byte warning. If I continue, the progress bar gets about two thirds of the way across and I get the "unhandled exception error" and the progress bar goes no further. I've used 7-zip to extract the files and I can't find a zero byte file...

Re: Midland Line: Aikens - Springfield Route released

One strange thing I have noticed during the driving is vibration occurring, at times, on my desktop. It feels like one gets when using the Xbox Controller in some games. I actually thought it was coming from my neighbour doing some renovations with a power tool, our flats are connected via a fire w...

I have been unable to get the tail lamps at the rear of the train to "Light" . I have tried all the normal things like "H" or just the lamp icon and read the manual. To get the Headlight to work it must be done in the cab with the mouse on the appropriate switch. There is no switch for the rear of t...

Re: Midland Line: Aikens - Springfield Route released

As it is part of Middle Earth from where I live I had to purchase it. Having traveled on the line to Arthers Pass from Christchurch about 10 years ago, I have to say the route looks very much as I remember it. The only thing I did not like was the colour of the Gorse bushes, which I found a bit "gar...

Re: At Last GWR 2800 2-8-0

The "Croc H boiler Rust" is from Victory Works GWR 72xx expansion pack for the 42xx Class. It's one of the freight wagons that come with the loco, a Croc H with a rusty boiler as a load. Hi Thanks, I have reinstalled both the 4200 and the 7200, so now all I am getting are a variety of Mts Collet co...

Re: At Last GWR 2800 2-8-0

2 other items were mentioned as missing which were AFAIC Make Out were: "Croc H boiler Rust" I could not find any mention of them as an issue when checking the scenario via "RW_Tools". I managed to start the scenario by pressing "F2" and "cancel". Any help appreciated, Thanks, Roland. The "Croc H b...

Re: At Last GWR 2800 2-8-0

I bought the GWR wagon pack as well as the 2800 and finally had a try at the Wycombe Valley line. While I had no trouble running the loco, I could not get the headlights to show up, just the taillight on the brakevan. Then as a train ran past me the whole scene went Psychedelic, I could not see any ...

Re: Rivet Games Suburban Glasgow Northwest - Springburn-Helensburgh

I was most impressed with the work done on this route both by the original creator Iian but also RG. I will be purchasing it as it has lots of variations to travel along.

Re: SSS Stainmore route

Got it installed with no issues.
Ran the Tutorial, the route looks great, I love the noisy semaphore signals, very realistic sound.
I'm looking forward to running some more scenarios.

Re: SSS Stainmore route

It was so nice to receive the email about this route being 'close enough to pre-order' that I, among many of us have been waiting for, for so long.
So have done the pre-order and now sit back and wait again for its final arrival. :D

Re: How to stop blowing off? Manual firing

Close the dampers. Let the fire mass drop. Both give a colder fire, so less steam. Hi and thanks for that info regarding closing the dampers. I have always resorted to just adding cold water, but that does not last long enough. I like the following idea . then have some loud music handy "Mardy Bum"...

The Steam Winter Sale has started.

I just got an email saying the Steam Winter Sale has started. So I sent off a text to Family so they can hopefully pick out something from this years longer than usual Steam Wishlist. Now I wonder if Armstrong Powerhouse has a couple of items on special that I would like to purchase myself? :...
