Also, am I right in thinking you can't as such have different...

I've used Transport Diversions before too - to find obscure book on Tunisian railways. I had it within 72 hours of finding the web site. They're spot on - I'd recommend to anyone.

Good decision, lad

Have been yearning for a blue 27 for while, having found my repainting skills to be non-existent! Nowt wrong with duplication - e.g there are 2 green Claytons, both subtly different. Look closely at any pair of double-headed loco's and they'll never look identical unless they're brand new (and even ...

PS In case anyone still couldn't believe their eyes, yes, those genuinely are 141s 'gracing' the metals of the Islamic Republic - they bought a job-lot, I think it was from a car-boot sale somewhere outside Isfahan.[/i]

Looking for obscure railway info...

Evenin' all Have been trying various places to get info on (wait for it) Syrian & Jordanian railways (including the Hedjaz railway) - as am on holiday in that part of world in a few weeks and think it's still possible to go by rail between Amman & Damascus on the narrow gauge. But can't find anythin...

Seems fair enough to me: a derailment or a SPAD is much the same as far as I'm concerned - i.e. . driving! Will see if this works...

Thanks a lot!
