Re: Leek & Manifold

I have got to agree with Needles. It's rare - if ever - I download a route that I have personal experience of, but the Leek & Manifold trackbed I have walked numerous times, and it's amazing to recognise and relate to the geographical and architectural features of this little route. It's actually qu...

Re: Can't use WCML over Sharp

Hi Antony I had a similar problem with WLoS - until I lowered my Scenery Quality settings to High instead of Very High. This did the trick for me. The odd thing is that the WLoS was the only route affected with the Scenery setting variable. It might be worth a try with WCML Shap  Hope it helps...

Re: Rebuilt Royal Scot from Steam Sounds Supreme

I've been busting for someone to make one of these, and what a beaut it looks already. At long last - I can't believe it! :D

Re: GNoSR Lines

Hi Neil I just wanted to add my thanks for sharing this lovely little route. I gave it a quick spin last night and was very impressed with the amount of detail you have included. Like has been said previously, this route is full of atmosphere, and again we are spoilt by another smashing route to run...

Re: Geforce GTX 770 vs Radeon R9 290

Just to throw in my experience here..... I have a GTX770. I upgraded from a lowly Dell laptop to a desktop back last June. My experience Is based solely on my usage of this card as I haven't seen/heard anything about the AMD card for comparison. I found of course it was a quantum leap from what I ha...

Re: What would you like to see in 2014?

I have a single request route-wise, and that would be the Great Central through Rugby, Leicester, and up to Nottingham, and even further north if possible. If it was set in 1950s-60s period it would be perfect for quite a broad variety of former LNER, LMS and even GWR steam locos, BR Standards, and...

Re: Just Trains Installations - Boxed and Download Problem

Thanks guys for all your replies. In my first post I said I'd mailed JustTrains about the problem before writing here, and today they got back to me. I think they have waved the magic wand at their end because it's all installed fine now :D I never expected them to respond Christmas Eve, but ...

Re: Just Trains Installations - Boxed and Download Problem

Hi woggit - and thanks very much for replying. I've tried what you've suggested but on the Product Authentication screen when I enter my email details, enter my password then I get a message saying "sorry, there doesn't seem to be a purchase of this product on your account", and there doesn't seem t...

Just Trains Installations - Boxed and Download Problem

Hi Just a quick question here. A while back I purchased the Boxed version of the GWR Manor Pack, which runs fine. Today I purchased the Download version Add-on Pack, but it won't install as the software doesn't seem to recognise my original (boxed) installation. I have raised a ticket with JT, but w...

Re: My First proper Route build

Good news Jake! I hope you see this one through.

It's a pity about the Battlefield Line - I was very much looking forward to seeing progress with that, but hats off to you for persistence and I wish you every success with this latest project

Lovely shots Claus (as ever!) of a fantastic little engine! Some shots taken on the updated version of the lovely Shethorpe and Whitley Line with Steam Sounds Supreme's brilliant steam and sound effects on the 8Fs http://img-cdn.filefactory.com/embed/m/6y23jzek84dx.jpg http://img-cdn.filefactory.com...

Re: Leek & Manifold

Those screenies are absolutely outstanding. I know photo-realistic is a phrase often used, but I thought they were real photos of the valley to show the season's colours! :o The vegetation and depth of field looks amazing in those shots. A true work of art sir. If it wasn't for being able to see the...
