Re: Is it me or is it them? Stutter question
With all due respect to posters here, the main subject of this thread is "stutter" not FPS. My FPS rates are very good throughout most routes including the notorious ones, they do drop at times but I don't think this is the cause of stutter but a mere consequence of it. It looks to me that stutter i...

Re: Is it me or is it them? Stutter question
I will have to slightly disagree with the above statements as my "ye olde" p.c runs the PDL without these several second freezes, it stutters yes but not to the degrees mentioned? My specs are quad core phenom 2.2 ghz, 5 gig of 800 mghz ram, 8800 gtx, creative extreme gamer pro fatal1ty sound card,...

Yes I hope this is one of the vital updates due to its present effects on most, if not all users!

Re: Coming soon - China Clay For Export
Finally decided to buy the route and have just completed my first scenario. Lovely scenery and it reminds me of some of the Openbve routes I have seen. The technique for flora and tree placement is interesting and appears very vibrant and dynamic. It looks like a photo but is obviously 2D. Would lik...

Re: Thoughts on multiplayer
I like the potential Multiplayer offers especially things like virtual railways which would work much like those airlines for flight simulators. These offer a vastly different way to use the simulator and some will find this great.....some will not but you don't have to use the multiplayer side of t...

Really like this idea....then everybody is happyzm4em wrote:Maybe I'm daydreaming now, but I also think it's a good way to release new routes. A route version for low to mid end PC's, and another one for the high end systems, or something simular.

Re: Question and Answer session with RailSimulator.com
I know performance improvement has already been hinted at but can you give us some idea about how stutter will be reduced i.e. presumably via an improved tile loading method?
Flight Simulators now have virtual airlines via muliplayer setup, do you have any vision of virtual railways?

Re: Woking - Portsmouth route - Out 22nd April
I am afraid I have been spoilt by the recently released class 156.....if all stock was as good as this and all routes as good as say, Bristol -Exeter then I would be buying this. There can be no excuse now for bad physics and unfinished unrealistic routes.......can there>?

Re: Class 156 by Oovee
Best add on I have purchased so far. Someone said it had the roll though, I can't detect that but if it rolled around like Openbve it would be perfect! :D One thing I have noticed though, the outside view of the beast doesn't show any wheels when travelling along fast, not sure if it's my set up? :o
