Re: AWS sound

Not responding to anyone specifically but: I think the absence of an audible warning whilst out of cab is a MAJOR flaw in Railworks I'm not so sure that it can be blamed on RailWorks, it's something that is set up on the loco itself. You can have the AWS alarms/beeps sounding outside of the train -...

Re: AWS sound

Thanks for all the comments so far. I don't understand the bits about using simple controls removing AWS? When I use F4 controls the AWS works as normal but you can't hear the audible warning in any other view than the cabin. This restricts you if you sometimes prefer to drive a train in other views...

Re: AWS sound

Oh I didn't realise this was a known issue that the developers were refusing to address? I love to see all the scenery on a route and take an overview of the scenario....I hate it when I miss the next orange signal and the train stops automatically.....surely this is something that could be made opt...

AWS sound

I enjoy driving my trains in helicopter (external camera) view 1 and 2 as well as cabin. How can I enable the AWS sounds in these views so I don't miss the signals? OR is this not possible?
I notice some trains like the 66 has this already done?

Thanks

Re: Train Simulator 2012

One thing that puzzles me is why a British company sees the need to have a United States engine on the front of the box?! Signs of things to come maybe?? Thanks guys - hopefully the 'British' cover will happen. Must admit that if I was new to all this and I saw a Sim with a US engine on it I would ...

Re: Best Settings On Railworks for...

Hi there, yea did all that, tried another download route too. No processes appearing in the CPU control box. I wonder if it's because I have W7 pro? Tried running as administator and installing as admin too. Shame as I would like to try it out. :-? I am running W7 Ultimate and every process that is...

Don't worry I don't see this as the world vs me! I just took it upon myself to defend the guy that made the original comment and for the purposes of debate to play the part of how the average user might view things and make comment as opposed to the seasoned creator. ! Thanks for this, I do appreci...

Re: This is just awful !!

Wow, I log on to see my posts after a day at work and what a reaction !. My original post has been deleted so people in this thread are writing about my post not having seen it !! For the record I commented on the previous post in the Crouch Valley thread agreeing with the poster and stating how the...

Re: Crouch Valley

I have just finished all the provided scenarios and I like the route very much. Congratulations on on making it. I am not keen on the 317 but hopefully this can be improved on re- physics and cabin appearance etc. Look forward to version 3 and someone to make more scenarios ! :D

Re: Help Needed

Morning John I found this on Goggle, hope it helps :) Sometime certain Microsoft Libraries can become unregistered when installing and uninstalling a lot of software. One very common problem is the MSCOMCTL.OCX. To correct the error, first search your drive for MSCOMCTL.OCX to see if you have it. If...
