ALthough my computer is only 18 months old there seem to have been no driver updates for the soundcard since 2015. Advice gratefully received if anyone has suggestions for new soundcards which work well in TS.

This is also happening to me. As you say the screen freezes and the sound stops. I can only get out of Trainsim through alt-ctrl-del and task manager. Beware. It did an unannounced verify with no option to avoid, and is now busy trashing my system by re-downloading almost everything. Fortunately my Assets_germany and Content_germany seem untouched it's just the active UK version. There is going to be a lot of copying from backups I think.

Has anyone managed to do a normal resume from a save with this? The power/brake meter doesn't work and on zero throttle it accelerates like a scalded cat. The bat file does lots of copying etc and at the end seems to come up with an error message viz. The newer version of UKTS_22662_FSA-upgrade has a variety split between several files. Some copying and pasting and renaming should give you a full set of repaints.

Because Hamburg_Hannover is so big I copied across the required files (in the correct folder structure) from my Assets_germany folder. This produced exanctly the same problems descibed. They are also used in Liverpool-Manchester, and the Class 70. There are a couple of repaints in UKTS 22662.

What are the speed limits for German freights please? Scenario writers (with the exception of 3DZug) rarely give a hint. I guess there are three main groups; the container/lorry rakes, the mixed freights, and the long rakes of ore/coal/aggregate. Presumably these are linked also to which PZB Zugart ...

I have the non-Steam version and hated the ballast colours. The relevant files are largely named the same as the default Oxford-Paddington ones and if you copy those across it improves things greatly although there are still some not changed.
