Re: New 3D Cloud System?
In case it got lost earlier.. ;) New 3D weather patterns can be created with the silverlining weather blueprint. I haven't found a way to effect the lighting used with the 3D weather, other than the silverlining.config/.override file. Settings in there related to lighting work, and most likely the c...

Re: New 3D Cloud System?
It doesn't seem to be too well integrated at the moment, hopefully they haven't finished working on it. As for changing things, there is a Silverlining weather blueprint which allows you to create a weather pattern with cloud layers etc. It's pretty straight forward if you are used to using blueprin...

Re: AP track sounds
AP’s class 60 sound pack reminded me of this thread. Nschichan’s fix worked well with the class 60 but I couldn’t resist playing around with it a bit, and ended up with a slight variation which I’m dropping in here in case it’s useful to anyone. Re: Tunnel Occlusion Tool (my thoughts)
:) I ended up with similar numbers, about 60 – 90 (hex) alpha for bridges, depending how open they are and the fade values used etc. It's mostly a case of 'whatever looks right'. Whether using black and alpha is the correct way of doing it, who can say (the official wiki/documentation is a bit out o...

Re: Tunnel Occlusion Tool (my thoughts)
I've simply been setting the colour to black (0x000000) in all cases, and using the 'alpha' to set how dark the final result is.
0x000000ff makes it completely dark, 0x00000000 gives no shadow at all (or was it the other way round..).

Re: SBHH Wipes out Track Database
You can see whether system restore has a copy pretty easily under Windows 7, not sure about XP. Right-click the file (or the folder where the file used to be), chose 'properties' and look at the 'previous versions' tab. System restore may well have a copy, but it's pot luck whether it will be recent...
