Re: The Keith Ross appreciation society.....
I'd like to add my congratulations to Keith on a fantastic piece of work and to RS.com for making it happen. I've yet to explore all the nooks and crannies that WCML has and it looks like I'll be exploring for some time.

You need to add a 0 after 286 so it reads 0.2860

Re: WCML Points Problems
In the Free Roam at Carlisle I've had to set it up like a proper scenario, i.e. giving the trains destinations and placing waypoints so that I'm not routed into any of the loops or sidings.

Re: West Coast Mainline coming to Railworks
Downloading it now, not sure I'll be able to fully appreciate the route tonight as I'm feeling a bit rough from last night lol, but I will give it a run tonight nonetheless.

Re: West Coast Mainline coming to Railworks
What's the worst thing about this route? I finish college at 1pm Friday and I've got to wait till the east coast of America wakes up till I get a go. There's absolutely nothing bad about this route IMHO. From what I've seen on Facebook and on here the route is simply stunning. apart from the fact t...

Re: West Coast Mainline coming to Railworks
For me personally, I couldn't care a less what signals are used, as long as the route is accurately depicted, and Keith and the RS team have a done a fantastic job wit this route. I'll quite happily haul 86's and 43's in ICS livery or any other livery for that matter. Now if my credit card would com...

Re: How can I get other trains on different routes ?
You'll need to go into scenario edit mode. Select the route you wish to use and then select a scenario. For my example I used "Paisely Winter Freeze." Click on the edit button and wait for it to load, then press the Object Set Filter button: http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b218/geordieiron/Addinga...

Re: Fag Packet HST Add-on from RS.com
Just took a 5+2 set in free roam from a standing start at Darlington to 134mph at Thirsk, after that the speedo wouldn't budge. The record breaking log in The Railway Magazine shows 130mph at Thirsk (57.99 miles from Newcastle), 140 at Sessay (62.09), 130 at Raskelf (66.76), 140 from Alne to MP 5 (...

How easy/difficult is it to obtain permission from the TOC's for you to photograph the interior of trains?

Re: Fag Packet HST Add-on from RS.com
You should read the article in the latest edition of 'The Railway Magazine' (October 2010) entitled 'The world diesel speed record: The inside story' . This describes the special run on 27 September 1985 from Newcastle to Kings Cross using a 2+5 set, which cut nearly 10 minutes off the schedule of ...
