Re: Angus and Kincardinshire.
James, Bob, Geoff, I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time and trouble to document this activity from my point of view as an interested spectator. If my main PC was operational, I think I'd actually be trying to recreate each and every step that James is taking myself. Since it isn't, I'm...

thanks for confirming that, and it would be great if RSC would get around to fixing that bug sooner rather than later,

Re: 18:30 Keswick - Newcastle (Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith)
This isn't a complaint about either the video or the route - in fact, that route is the one thing I'm really looking forward to most of all for RW2. I noticed, particularly towards the beginning and end of the video, large white mountains (the whole mountain and nothing but the mountain) in the dist...

Re: SCOTTISH CENTRAL GETS THE GREEN LIGHT.
Typical - I ask a perfectly reasonable question on behalf of users who, like myself, don't have a DVD drive ( does nobody remember that we used to have CD drives before DVDs came along ? ), and end up having idiots making fun of my username.
That'll be the last time I post on these forums,

I hope that doesn't mean that the stock and activities will ONLY be available with the DVD version ... ???steamnut44 wrote:... It will probably be available as a Mini Route on DVD including activities & stock and/or available as download (route only)...

Have you tried running the program outside of "compatibility mode" ?iceweaver wrote:... I have XP and have tried running the game in compatibility mode for 95, 98 and 2000...
Even vintage programs like MSTS or CFS2 do NOT require this and will run as straight forward WinXP programs ...

Re: Problems with cabview on Tornado BG
An alternative solution is to use a different model of the Tornado which already has the cab view correctly set up - see Ged's post at 2:38 pm on Feb 18, 2011 in this topic :

Re: False Alarm - POSSIBLE virus found in a UKTS Library file
Ash, and my point is that there is no guarantee that any file in the Library will stay virus free from the time at which it is uploaded to the time at which someone reports a problem with that file. Yes, the Library has security processes in place to protect it and the files it contains, just as my ...

If only software actually worked like that ...dkightley wrote:..sometime in the eight years the file has been in the library...
Sadly, your statement would only be true if the Library had always been held on Read-Only storage, which although possible is rather unlikely,

Re: POSSIBLE virus found in a UKTS Library file
I've just had a s/w update from Avira, and so tried to download the file again. There were no problems at all this time, so it looks as if it WAS a false positive report in the first place,
hope that helps,

False Alarm - POSSIBLE virus found in a UKTS Library file
My Anti-Virus product (Avira Internet Security) has just reported that the copy of your file UKTS_6202_BR_MK2F_V2.zip that I had in my library for over a month is infected with a Trojan virus (TR/Patched.W.4 Trojan). Of course, this could be a false positive, but the file was transferred to quaranti...
