Re: Coming soon - China Clay For Export

Kariban wrote:... quick check, did you turn adaptive AA off?
Yes, after seeing a few posts here about that option setting. Sadly, it makes no difference on my system,
thanks for the suggestion, though,

Re: File extension has been changed from .RPK

AndiS, absolutely, I've used every version of Windows since 3.0 and MS-DOS before that, so I do know my way around all of them, up to and including XP. I've just been going through my library correcting the filenames in those cases where I have a reference that allows me to cross check against the o...

Re: File extension has been changed from .RPK

John, Yes, I agree. I hate any program which does things automatically without asking my permission, whether it be installing something or setting some configuration option. In this case, WinZip only appears to have the option for associating itself with various file extensions, and there has never ...

File extension has been changed from .RPK

Although I've never owned Rail Simulator, I am an RW2 user who has built up quite a large library of .RPK files that I've downloaded from UKTS and other websites. I discovered this morning that something has gone through my library and renamed practically every .RPK file, giving them a .ZIP extensio...

Re: Coming soon - China Clay For Export

Of course, if you now respond with "But Rik, I use an ATI card..." then that'll be one theory busted :) ... which, I'm afraid is precisely the case as I use an Asus 5870 2Gb card. As I say, a pet annoyance since I get "flashing" track all the time regardless of which version of the ATi / AMD driver...

Re: Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith

Watch this space. ... always ! It all looks so fantastic, especially with the amount of work implied by your comments above. But then, I thought it looked great in all your posts in this thread, even before your recent research and updates. Still looking forward very much to the release in the next...

Re: Coming soon - China Clay For Export

If anyone is still unsure about the route...I made a video! Mike, thank you muchly for the vid, but it did make me think of two things. The first is a pet annoyance of mine where RW2 is concerned - the track flashes in places, usually at points and just a few feet in front of the player train. Yet ...

Re: Social Integration Features

What kind of social integration features would you like to see? This question is obviously directed at those of you who *do* use sites like Facebook of course. Matt, Personally, I have no intention of ever being integrated, so my question is whether it would be possible to have a switch at the user...

Re: 2A78 - Glasgow Central to Glasgow International Airport

Manuel,
another great vid, but I wonder if you could possibly tell me what you used for the soundtrack as I was really enjoying that when the vid came to a rather sudden ending,
thanks in advance,
