Re: referncing ../../../../../../* dirctory stuructue
Hi Brian, Are you using the latest version of RW_Tools (v2.1.73) ? The missing texture problem in the Check Route option was fixed quite recently (it had not been reported to me previously) and was caused by a change in some files following the Rail Works 2 upgrade. I will check the other ones from...

Re: referncing ../../../../../../* dirctory stuructue
Hi Brian, Further to the above, how are you using RW_Tools to check rolling-stock - The check route option does not check the rolling stock which are parts of the scenario, not of the route? I can't see where RW_Tools would be reporting bad textures in rolling stock as it does not seem to be able t...

Re: Should I buy Railworks 2
Now the big decision - should I buy it? Basically I am a steam man, so will RW offer me enoough in the way of steam? Steve Big Decision - No! You can make it with around $20. So, I strongly recommend you to buy RW2. In the Basic Package there are only 3 or more Steams included. But there are hundre...

Re: Missing texture Check for *.Xsec files!
Hi Mike, I had a freeware stuff from over UK,France,Spain,Germany,Italy, Czech, China. From my past experience with PROCEDURAL scenery files which use both GeoPcDX and XSec, almost all of the XSec files had a extra TgPcDx references which are not included in GeoPcDx files. Some of the examples can b...

Re: referncing ../../../../../../* dirctory stuructue
Hi Mike Almost of all the GeoPcDx files in "Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\buildings" refer texture files with "..\..\..\..\*" style. As just one example, "Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\buildings\bath_temp_WP23_01.GeoPcDx" file has reference like --- <TextureByName> <e d:type="cDeltaString">....

[Proposal] Engine Completeness Check Option!
This is just proposal [wish list] for RW_tools. In UKTS library, there are hundreds of free Locos and Reskins. Someone would have experienced the diffculty with downloaded freeware Locos and Reskins. - not showing texture - mispalced driver - misplaed child objects - not working horns .... At the ti...

referncing ../../../../../../* dirctory stuructue
It looks like RW_tools can handle the directory structures like "../*" "../../*" But, it seems that RW_tools can not handle the directory structures like "../../../*" "../../../../*" "../../../../../*" and more .... Some Kuju scenery and loco bin files references very deep structure as in second cas...

Missing texture Check for *.Xsec files!
Many procedural scenary use *.Xsec file with *.GeoPcDx file.
Currently, RWTools only check *.GeoPcDx file.
So, after passing texture check, there are some cases we still have missing texture in games.
Could it be added to check *.Xsec files!

Will there be no one telling the driver for not-working?Traveller54 wrote: This will move the driver back to become a passenger in the front coach and does not compromise either the destination boards or upset the other passengers!
How about simply removing driver!

Re: Strange "Reskin" problem - shows in editor but not in "Game"
if it works correctly in "Railworks" (or at least works in Railworks 110.8b & below) how come all of a sudden it played up in 114.1b? Whilst it's a 'Faulty' asset, 114.1b has to take some blame in that it's doing something differently to the previous versions  As for me, With "Faulty' assets ...

Re: Strange "Reskin" problem - shows in editor but not in "Game"
The headlight.bin, headlight.GeoPcDx and headlight.xml that installs as standard seem to have an issue with 114.1b Yes! There is another file path error I didnt catch. "Freightliner(GW)-816/headlight.bin" has wrong file path. <GeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">Kuju\Railsimulator\Railvehicles\Diesel\...

Re: RW Oldest but Goodest!
Oops!
Sorry, I missed one thing.
Before doing STEP 2,
>>2. Overwrite Contents and Assets folders from RW2(114.1b) to RW(110.8b)<<
Be sure to backup
"Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorCore\InputMappers\Drive Mode.bin"
And after doing STEP2,
Recover original Drive Mode.bin.
This is for Old F4 action.

RW Oldest but Goodest!
Do you think Oldest RW is Goodest RW! Do you feel new HUD take too much screen and hinder your sights. Do you think Old F4 is simple but better. Do you feel old fonts size is more comfortable to your old eyes. Do you like just driving than competing. However, Do you want to have(drive) new locos and...

Re: Strange "Reskin" problem - shows in editor but not in "Game"
Curiouser and curiouser... The same package, loco, and my modifications work 100% fine under Railworks (1) 110.8b So, what has changed between 110.8b and 114.1b apart from the new fangled hud and the extra piracy protection that was added... If some major file structure was changed for the "Kuju" f...

Re: WCML south Assets and readme
I'm a little confused - if you use a driving coach texture on a centre coach, won't you end up with it not fitting correctly because of the different layout? Steve That texture already have all the components to draw MSL coach. So, MSL is perfect without any glitch. Texture specific to DMSL is on a...
