455s, 456s, 465s, 458s, 4CIGs, 4VEPs?, 377s, 450s, 444s, 442s and Dont forget the Gatwick Express! Lots of potential ;) The class 319s with Connex Express worked Brighton-Victoria as-well. They were also with Southern for a short while, so it wasn't uncommon to see them working the entirety of the ...

Re: RSC Route: London - Brighton
I was wondering, for those in the know... What type of "normal" services run on this line, and which are the usual stopping points/calling stations.... A look at the timetable here says that it's mostly express services between the 2 cities....??? The main stations you want to stop at with pretty m...

Re: RSC Route: London - Brighton
I'd certainly love to fly along this route in a Connex Express 319. Am I right in thinking they went non-stop from Brighton to Victoria only stopping at East Croydon?

I also got fed-up with the blindingly bright ballast, so made my own textures for the PDL track a couple weeks ago. I must also say performance has gone up tremendously with the latest update.

Re: WIP Thread 7 - Anything New For RailWorks
I got burned out on something else I was working on, so I've been working on hand-painted cab re-texturing in the last couple of days. Re: Insect Splat
I had this on my list of 'wants' from my 4-VEP, I think it's possible but only with some custom coding, a few dozen polygons and nothing to do with the TS2012 rain effects.

Sorry for no updates, been busy with things that'll come to light soon

Early early work in progress, remember there will be LODs so performance will still be 'good'

Hi Captain, welcome to the forums! Regarding your issue I suspect you're driving a train which has a combined brake/power lever - try out a class 37 or HST - those have separate power/brake levers.

Hmm, seems I'm getting the bug where the screen is squashed to 50% vertical size and duplicated - effectively having the same game running twice one above the other, any ideas?

Hey there,
Thanks for reminding me to update this...
The cab is nearly completely modeled, renders soon. Not much on the exterior, but getting there:

Re: WIP Thread 6 - Anything new for RailWorks
Weird, because on a few tests systems we can't actually find a difference in performance when only using 1 HD texture per item of rolling stock.Kariban wrote:Yeah, we did do a test with a 2048^2 texture recently, and it cut the FPS in half
