Re: Isle of Wight: Pier Pressure Scenario
Maybe, on some of the scenarios I have installed I could complete the scenrio's however I could not get green ticks to say I have successfully completed them as perhapes one of the objective targets times was impossible to reach, just as you described, however I have not seen anyone else complaining...

Re: Isle of Wight: Pier Pressure Scenario
I have had this problem with a couple of other scenario's I have purchased, the target time for one of the objectives are unrealistic. I dont know if it is one of Railworks little gremlins, a mistake by the scenrio author or corruption in the scenario data files. To fix these scenario's, run through...

Re: ATI and CCC
Don't see how, the Q6600 is a quad core  I am not sure what is slowing it down if I am honest I think reading a review just, It could be because the pixel fill rate is significantly low, I think this could explain how it only stutters when driving a steamer!! and the ROPs are 16 not 32. I am g...

Re: ATI and CCC
Also regarding coolers, I was using a thermaltake water cooling system, which I ditched in favour of a Zalman flower copper air cooler, it's superb and regarded as the apex of air cooling, they range in price on ebay from insanely expensive to affordable second hand, but they do the job as good or ...

Re: ATI and CCC
I'm using a XFX nForce 680i LT board this chipset is comparible to the P35 etc, the nForce chipset is a requirement if you want to run two Nvidia cards in SLI on socket 775, luckily it is a high performing chipset although does not overclock to the levels of the P35. Depending on the stepping model ...

Re: ATI and CCC
I'm pretty sure Railworks does not take advantage of Physx hardware if it is available - its all run in software mode on the CPU, even though on nvidia's site it lists Rail Simulator in its "listing of current and upcoming AGEIA PhysX-accelerated titles available for PC and console owners alike." Fo...

Re: Having a display problem since the last update
Yep all systems react diferently when they crash but screens going blank like the computer is crashing. Do other games work OK? Follow Kromaatikse & Styckx suggestions for where to look to fix the problem. I always try a clean install of Windows as well just to discount any software issues before go...

Re: Something SAD has happened...
My Railworks installation used to crash on scenario's with lots of rolling stock, I would start off moving and Railworks would always crash SBHH message or a vertex buffer allocation error at the same place. The default scenrio's that came with the routes are all fine so I would say that your proble...

Re: Railworks wont start AGAIN
Hello, make sure you are running railworks as administrator also try re-installing .net frame works uninstall it using control panel then install again using windows update worth a try. Re: Shunters in Yards
Yes I'm like you and like my shunters placed along routes, they where everywhere after all in the 80's. So you can place them in scenrios as you would any other locos and wagons with the scenrio editor but maybe take a copy first before playing about with payware scenrios otherwise you may have to r...

Change loco class master volume levels
Hi just a quick question for you all sorry if this has aleardy been covered, I have a lot of Armstrong powerhouse sound packs installed and have also just installed the JT Class 20 pack. Yes thanks I have noticed that the community is very helpful and informative and I know I am welcome, after spending over 30 mins typing out a post I did not appreciate the sarcastic comments though, I've calmed down now they should know better that some peeps are more sensitive than others. I also ...
