Re: virtualRailroads - German Railroads Special Offer
The AFB is a nice nice feature. I have played the standard heavy freight scenario with a class 120, the AFB set on 60km/hr and on 60 it stayed all the way to Hagen!

@smarty2
Your cases have indeed been made in point. I admit I have tended to move easier past the current issue, frankly because I am thrilled with the overall improvement in RW and associated add-ons.

Re: virtualRailroads - German Railroads Special Offer
If am not mistaken, from a legal point of view, software is sold as is, so the updates are not mandatory. "Moral" rules may be breached but not the legal ones. Things change fast in this business, so unpopular ( legally sound )decisions have to be made. It is not pleasant when you payed 30 euros for...

@UsRailFan
The official vR forum is hosted at Rail-sim.de. From what I understood from my translations (it is in german), any required updates wll eventually be available, including those related to RW3, and they will be announced on their forum.

Re: virtual Railroads
Hi,
I for one don't know anything about the ICE versions unfortunately, if there are any at all, because I always purchase locomotives and cars.

virtual Railroads
The future of RW oriented GR is now on line at: virtual Railroads (http://www.virtual-railroads.de).
Each piece of rolling stock can now be bought separately which frankly is fantastic!

Re: AP Sound Packs
I also think the AP sound packs and more are excellent. I would go even further to suggest a scenario pack for the Hagen -Siegen route. For a variety of reasons I am "stuck" on that route but I have already implemented the excellent class 67 from RSC and the AP wagon packs, together with the rw tool...

Re: The future of German Railroads
BSI, BSI, not a word from them on RW, in the old days they produced a lot of routes, a lot of my routes for that matter, now I am basically just down to Hagen Siegen, but I am not complaining mind you!

Re: The future of German Railroads
I think we'll see some very exciting products from Virtual Railroads even if they will only be rolling stock and scenarios. I for one am looking forward to "VR" and I have no choice but go its way. I did not give up Msts easily( all those routes traded in for graphics and the immersion factor ) and ...

Re: The future of German Railroads
It is not a blow, railworks add-ons will be developed under the name "Virtual Railroads" by Ulf F. and Ernst T. will continue down the Msts/Open Rails Path. It's a split in the road and as I am irreversibly hooked on RW I'll follow VR.

Re: GR products sound update
This has just screeched to a halt in my inbox from German Railroads... is way better than Please be on the rack :D but they meant very well though. I also hope the "torture" part doesn't cause a stir, we're talking (writing) about a lighthearted laugh. Finally, I haven't gotten around to hear the up...

Re: Railworks 2
I for one did not mean in any way to bash other train simulator, just explain how I came to concentrate on RW2. It is true that for some not so strange reason we tend to identify with our chosen train simulator as if we were the bosses of a train fleet (virtually we are). Nonetheless each has its ad...

Re: Railworks 2
I think slowly but surely, anyone who likes virtual trains will leave MSTS behind for RW 2 although it will be hard and did I say it already? sloooooow. But in time the graphics, the operational capabilities ( main line trains already pull into the sidings, drop off freight cars for you to shunt and...
