Got the plans, I'm starting into resizing the models now,
Should have an image update in a few weeks, if all goes well.

The Two Routes
Hi, Some people may know that I'm currently making some Irish rolling stock over at the building rolling stock forum. Anyway, I thought I'd release my big news that, hopefully soon, there will be more than just the Dublin-Cork route available to all Irish Railways fans. Currently in both their early...

Re: Sketchup freeware to canvas
Thanks Trainguy76, I'll give it a go. Also, does blender require the art plugins or does it come with RW compatible export file formats?

Sketchup freeware to canvas
Hi,
I saw somewhere previously that there is a tutorial to get models from sketchup (the freeware version) into canvas. Is this hard? Could someone direct me to the tutorial? Also, does anyone have the link to the 3dc art plugins for railworks, I've failed to find them.
Thanks.

Re: Reskinning camber track
Mike, I have done so with a successful result. However, could you point me in the direction of the 'distant' textures for the brown and grey track(file names)? As I zoom out the track becomes brown again as I can't find the low LOD textures. Instead of pasting in photoshop I just found the identical...

Re: Reskinning camber track
Mike,
That is exactly what I'm looking for, I take it that it is standard uk gauge (4ft 8 )?

Reskinning camber track
Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows whether theres a reskin pack for the Quattro Studios track? I'm looking for a grey ballast and concrete version of the standard UK gauge version. In other words, I'm looking for a standard gauge version of the gray broad gauge one. If there isn't any could someone ...

Re: DEM help
Also, I've just tried making DEM appear in Penzance at N50 W5, which I made a template for with the coordinates of lat50 lon-5. This doesn't work either so there must be a problem with the coordinates either with the srtm file or the template coordinates.
Can anyone see the problem?
Thanks.

Re: DEM help
I have everything set up right now except for the DEM. I have placed all decals covering Dublin Connoly station, if I can just get this blasted file to work in RW I'll be on my way. The file N53 E006 is placed in my SRTM folder. -Can only one file be placed in the folder at once? -I just looked in t...

Re: DEM help
I am certainly trying, the coordinate in RW don't include the 00's I just use -6. Also, according to google earth, the Dublin tile is located at N53 W-6. If anyone wants to check and has an appetite for proving me wrong, go ahead!

Re: DEM help
Well I've edited the blueprint to -6 and downloaded the N53 E6 .hgt file but still nothing happens. But I did notice a significant drop in FPS while navigating and holding T. Extra info might help solve the problem. I downloaded the .hgt file from the NASA SRTM version 2 Eurasia index. My route temp...
