Water surfaces? That's not an issue what can't be solved with a little level height ;) By the way, as the link says they will combine it with srtm, probably to fix those issues like above. Why not seems to be 100% reliable (btw the srtm isn't too...) "but anything dealing around DEM conversions seem to require high mathematical skills" just like to make a 3d engine, and make a simulator around it :D btw the most of these methods are in rw now, because it can read and cut srtm by using...

it won't cripple... you just need to use memories with same, frequency, and same timings then there won't be performance issue.

or is there any sample locomotive what its working correctly, and the source files can be obtained? Blueprint is enough. For example a working electric, diesel hidraulic blueprints...

no because it isn't in the 3dmax7 plugin package... i use now the one from the 8 plugin, that works.

The solution is pretty easy, move higher the whole model in your 3d modelling program :D I had nearly same problem, but for me the locomotive is floated, the i moved it lower, and no problem :)

PS: or not? Because for me the loco was on same height when i've activated it.

yes, 3ds max. The pivot point was at same directions as the bogies. Now i've rotated the wheel's pivots 180 degrees on x axis, and now everything works. But i won't continue making rolling stock, because the blueprint editor is bugged, nothing is documented, nothing in blueprints working like it sho...

Now i managed to make the bogies turn in correct direction. Two things left, the wheels still running in opposite direction, and i still can't put driver in the loco...

Hi! I've made a rolling stock what is not rolling :) I exported it, i put it in a scenario, RW aligned it with rails, but i cant put a driver in that locomotive. Why? And if another train goes near it, it jumps and then fall back and derailment. Maybe it's because i just wrote in some pivot coordina...

I try to use KUJU material in 3dmax7. I select kuju material, and i get errormessage: Shader initialisation: Failed to find the default fallback file (default.fbk)
What is this?

of course it will fix it, but why to fix it? When an express is overtakes a slower train it is a nice thing. The problem is the editor, what thinks that track will be blocked forever, and that can be fixed only by rsc.
