Re: Q1 Ballast Held at Red light

Hi Ged I think you have much more patience than I. Once I'd slowed to a crawl around Petts Wood, I decided to call it a day with trying to maintain boiler pressure, as at that rate I would be unlikely to reach Tunbridge Wells the same day, if at all. Still, it has been fun trying, and it's go...

Re: Q1 Ballast Held at Red light

I'm still here! I tried substituting Eastleigh 33020 following your lead, but still got stuck in the tunnel. I tried both maintaining full boiler pressure, and running down the pressure to minimum, but in both cases failed miserably. If I try again, I think I will use two Deltics - that should do it...

Re: Q1 Ballast Held at Red light

Hi Andy I got past the signal by using the "shuffle" - reverse a little, then forwards again. However, my problem is that I came to a halt in the tunnel beyond Knockholt and cannot seem to get going again. It's a great challenging activity, so I hope Martin may have some tips to help me complete it....

I use the Google Chrome browser, with the AdBlock extension and never see any adverts before or during videos.

Re: Activity Analysis

Hi Tony This does work as Jon has suggested. You need to go into Route Riter, click on the Rail Driver/Registry tab, select Change MSTS Registry Path, then double click the relevant Train Simulator folder in the left hand panel to select the path, then confirm with OK. Hope this helps - I have many ...

Re: "Alerter" driving me to the brink of insanity.

Same for me - I never drive modern routes as, like Mike Simpson, I always drive outside the cab.

What a great collection of screen shots on page 17 of this topic.

Well done Danny, and the model makers.

Re: Problems with the Bristol to Birmingham Route Activites

Hi Cody This looks like the place to say thanks for Working to New Street, so thanks indeed. I seem to be almost the only one using the "Write Comment" facility for MSTS activities, so I am never sure whether or not the author gets to read the thanks. I had the same problems as Ged with the EX_LMS_1...

Re: South East (steam era)

Sounds great Danny, but did you have to mention the "b" word.

Anything without yellow ends is good for me, never mind blue.

Re: South East (steam era)

You can add me to the interested list Danny.

Southern steam and green diesels - lovely!

I'm certainly looking forward to this route, and hope it will attract some activity writers in due course.

Re: Pool Goods Activity

I have just finished this activity. I could not figure out how to end the activity at Bath, so had to exit. Also, and possibly connected, I received a "drop off cars at location - not completed" failure message in the evaluation, which puzzles me, because I thought I had completed all the drop offs....
