Re: Railworks Stutter / Sound Cards / SBHH on WCML North

Hi all As one who does a lot of sound recording, I think Pilot37 may be onto something here. Most sounds used in game are at the most 16 bit 44.1 kHz, so perhaps there is an issue playing these at a higher sampling rate (48kHz for example). To be honest, 99.9% of people cannot tell the difference be...

Re: West Coast Mainline coming to Railworks

I've been a bit of a silent observer on these forums for a while, but these latest posts have encouraged me to post I am running a stock Dell Studio XPS in Win7 64 bit and sliders up all the way and have not had one SBHH with WCML and even the rubber banding and stuttering are mostly absent from thi...

Re: The Keith Ross appreciation society.....

I'd like to join too. An excellent route, but even more excellent is the scenarios that he keeps adding to UKTS, thanks heaps Keith, you are certainly keeping me wedded to the computer.

Re: LMS non-corridor coaches available.

Of course if someone wants to give me some help with the sounds that would be even more usefuller ;) Mike. Hi Mike I have the sounds if you need them (recorded from a geniune LMS non-corridor car too!), but blueprints etc have got me bushed so wouldn't be any help there. Cheers Tony PS Great to see...

Re: FREE RS Career System® scenario - "Off the Cotswold Line" OU

All worked fine for me and just had a good drive. The Career system certainly makes you concentrate a lot more. Only 11 posted scores so far with EasilyConfused up the top. I only managed 4th so far, but a very enjoyable time and thanks very much to RSC developers for a nice addition.

Re: New Sound Fading Effects

I have to agree, this is one of the best advances to be made in any rail simulator with regards to handling sound. I'll just have to get the rest of the soundpacks now to enjoy it even more!

Thanks heaps everyone and especially to Richard for demonstrating it.

Cheers

Re: Project Platform

Hi guys My first post here (been lurking for a while though). Just thought I would add my congratulations to a fantastic effort. Whilst most of your countrymen and women have been sleeping, out here in Oz I have been watching your progress on the blog and on here and it has been truly amazing. Not f...
