Re: Something new coming...
How on earth is everyone so certain it's a class 444 based on a single, slightly blurry shot of an incomplete render? :-? 0X Well one of the comments by RailSim Hi Alan, we will happily welcome any feedback or information you are able to supply on the performance aspect of the Class 444 units. Plea...

Re: UV Mapping in Blender
OK I have made a texture map for a billboard, which shows up on Blender, but when I push F12 to render, it shows the old image still:

What this does is unwrap your model depending on how you are viewing it in the 3D window.
Thanks

Re: UV Mapping in Blender
Ahh I see - thanks for the advice
Would it be best to separate the items before importing - must be easier then splitting them in Blender?

Re: UV Mapping in Blender
Ahh looks handy I have found there are two different UV unwraps... I have splitscreen, and the left is in UV/Image editor, whilst the right is in 3D view-Edit mode Now if I got to the UV/image editor mode, I can find under "UVs" pull down menu, a Unwrap button this gives me: http://i44.tinypic.com/2...

UV Mapping in Blender

Re: Simple Sign Boards
Billboard Set -s20 of them, top 10 have thin border, bottom ten don't

As hey will be reskinned by the user, should I use some sort of Basic texture for the "advert area" for ease of reskinning?

Ahh I see thing is SketchUp uses cm/m etc, and not pixels I am afraid :/ No problem! Aprox sizes: 2m, 3m, 4m, 5m, 6m x 1.5m & 3m (10 in total) Small border & no border, flat (small depth for adjustment purposes), one sided with a graphic embedded (for later re-skinning purposes), lit at night as de...

Re: Class 73
Ahh OK very handy info thanks they don't make the UV Maps simple... http://i41.tinypic.com/11hwak5.jpg :o Also, The "outside view" model is near done, just needs improvements to the cabs, mainly the addition of a cab divider wall situated between the door and the window in front. Side view (No. 1 en...
