Re: Class 60 Advanced - Just Trains

I believe that they mentioned the 60 and the 20 here at the same time, so it should be in the works...

Re: WIP Thread 9 - Anything New For RailWorks

So... as part of my masterplan to do the impossible...

The new and even more improved Electric Bogie!

It features retractable Electric pick up... which is currently not quite animating right

Re: "Bogie-less" Locomotives

OK I have tried that - it sits on the track fine, but when I click on it, the game crashes :/

I do have Br 423 (I am assuming this is a RSC product) But not sure how to view the .Bin file

Also, what would be the most suitable coupling to use between bogie and body?

"Bogie-less" Locomotives

OK so testing out possible ways to get proper Electro-diesel action, and now have a (hopefully) Electric-powered bogie (won't let me give it a driver though...) So, now I need to make the Diesel-powered body import without bogies. I know its possible, as I saw somewhere here questions about similar ...

Re: Setting up Accurate Physics and possible Electro-diesel work

OK, just thinking some things through here the moving couplings - what if the "body loco" had one bogie - meaning that the coupling would be fixed at the front, it would limit the loco to having a directional preference (one way would have fixed coupling on the front, the other not), assuming the ro...

Re: Setting up Accurate Physics and possible Electro-diesel work

I don't know very much, if anything, about electric locomotives unfortunately, but by your description and other information I've read, I would guess that its most similar locomotive already available in the sim is the Woodhead 76, with the series -> parallel switch and being a DC electric. If I wa...

Re: WIP Thread 9 - Anything New For RailWorks

has to be a link for this one - if I crop you miss bits http://i57.tinypic.com/wrhyc7.jpg Loco brake, Train Brake and Diesel controller all move (although the brakes are a bit broke at the moment  ) Also has Loudaphone with operating buttons *Basically if it moves I will animate it, even if it...

Notched Controllers - Could they be used for multiple powers

Hi I was thinking, the reverse is a notched lever, with, 3-4 settings (depending on if they have "off" as a option) So... could it be possible to have a five-notch regulator, with the following set up: Notch 1: Off Notch 2: reverse (Electric) Notch 3: neutral Notch 4: Forwards (Electric) Notch 5: Fo...

Useable control in Cab view

Hi

OK I got a brake controller and its animated. If I use the keyboard, the brake control moves, however, it doesn;t work in the reverse - there is no way to click on the brake controler and use it - how is this done?

Many thanks!

Re: Animating in Blender 2.49b for Railworks

OK another quick question - I have a animated windscreen wiper blade, which is animated fine, but is moving along the x-axis, and the glass pane is at a angle. I have tried rotating the set up, but when I start animating, it just jumps back to how it was - is it possible to rotate the set up (Also h...

Blender Exporter Issues - Quad conversion error?

Hi, Was updating the IGS model, and came across this error when exporting: http://i60.tinypic.com/2qu67u0.jpg It does it to quite a few parts too. Has something become corrupted in the file? I have tried restarting blender and the computer but it remains. Hopefully its not too bad, but if so luckily...
