Animated Two Tone Horn Levers

Hi All, I was wondering if it would be possible to create a horn lever that can be clicked and dragged both ways, ie up for the high note and down for the low note ( returning to centre position ) to play single tones as with my two tone horn sounds which are operated with the space bar and B key ( ...

Hi Ian. Locate the train folder in question, open it, double click on the .eng file. Back it up first. Go down to where it says headout ( under Cabview) and it should have three sets of figures in brackets i.e: Scotsman left hand view: CabView ( scotsman.cvf ) HeadOut ( -1.7 3.1 -5.5 ) or Scotsman r...

Cor, yes please David, more the merrier, i've just been trying to 'imitate' other horn sounds by manipulating some class 37 horns, don't really get the desired effects though, so real horns would be excellent, I can always split them if it's a single recording as long as they're a good length. Look ...

Thanks for that Chris, they were just 37 horns, I 'up' d the pitch as close as I could get to the 66 but that's all they are unfortunately. It would be nice if someone has some 66 horn sounds they can let me have or upload themselves?
Nelson?

Uncle Red's Horn Sounds For Class 66

Hi All, I recently uploaded some simple two tone horns for the class 66 believing these were class 66 horn sounds. After downloading Uncle Red's Class 66 I don't think they are. Are the URClass 66 horns the genuine article? They're gorgeous aren't they? lovely and clear, two tone as well ( space bar...

Thanks Matt, yeh, I started using the b key for the higher or lower tone of my two tone horns and was looking for alternative keys to use for the DMU buzzer or bell as well, or indeed like you propose, another horn sound which can be used in tunnels. To make the V key work you need to edit the SMS a...

You can use the v key for another sound, all it's used for is the wipers which are a waste of time until it's possible to have them working inside the cab, better used for another horn sound?? Or the z key, just goes click click and nothing happens?? just need to set up the SMS using different trigg...

That's fine Martin. Scefhwil's proposal looks good, I'll have a go at that sometime.
