I put all non-steam add-ons straight to disc as soon as they are downloaded, be it Richard's sounds, Payware locos or stock I've bought. It's piece of mind for me, and I don't mind re-installing sounds etc after steam updates, it doesn't take very long.

Re: Class 86 in WCML
My curiosity got the better of me and I bought it. It looks great and I'm very pleased with the 86. Looking forward to doing some high speed driving now. Perhaps some Pendo senarios to go with it too.

Re: Class 86 in WCML
It's not just a brand new class 86, you also get MK3a(s) (Buffered i.e loco hauled Mk3 coaches) and also extremly kindly the "Oovee" HST buffer pack too. At £19.99 it was a steal, and even at £25 it's a bargain  So if I buy the route will I get a refund for the HST Buffer Pack I already bough...

Class 86 in WCML
Hi all, just curious, is the 86 that comes with the new route a newly built loco or is it just the same as the freely downloadable one? Also if it is a new build, will it eventually be available seperately? The WCML looks great but I don't know if I want it just to get the 86. I don't have a lot of ...

Re: Another Chinese Winner!
I don't know if I'm supposed to take that last line as a joke or insult. Yeah, sorry about that, it was just a little "jibe" at our American cousins and their fascination for UFOs, Big Foot, Disaster Movies, etc, etc. No offence intended, and like Bob said, I live deep in Suffolk countryside so we ...

Re: GEML & East Anglia
Don't get me wrong, I really want this route, however much it costs, because it is of particular interest to me living in Suffolk, but am I right in thinking that in order to use this route I will firstly have to buy both the WCML and Garl add-ons? Or can I use the GEML add-on independently? Regards...

Re: High tension electric line without wires
I don't know how many of you have The Farming Simulator, by Astragon, but the default map had huge wind turbines everywhere which looked ugly, but the more recent modded maps have pylons and telegraph poles, complete with wires, and they look fantastic. Farming Simulator is a high graphics game but ...

Re: Next locomotive?
Wow, yeah, a small route based on Beamish Museum or similar to run the old trains on, something similar to RSC's TestTrak, anybody?

Re: GEML & East Anglia
How long were those pictures taken? I never new class 153's ran on the Wherry Lines. 2004 I think, if the date in the top right corner is when the photos were took. I've been here 11 years and have only seen 156s and 170s. I was lucky enough to see a pair of DRS 37s there once, don't know what they...

Re: Next locomotive?
Here's a good idea, how about some of the first ever trains, like Stephenson's Rocket or Trevithicks Pen-Y-Darren? That would be a novelty.

Re: Next locomotive?
Hopefully one day there'll be an East Anglian route, Norwich, Gt.Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Ipswich, etc, so I'd like to see some ONE Anglia liveried 156s and 170s please. Regards Dave Have you not seen Rich's effort at the GEML Dave? Hi Darren, I have now, thanks for pointing it out. It looks fantastic....

Re: GEML & East Anglia
Hi Rich, what an amazing looking route, thanks for all the hard work you've put in. I live just south of Lowestoft ( on the A12 ) and pass both Oulton Broad North and Lowestoft stations every time I drive into town. Also Norwich station when I'm in the city. I'm really looking forward to seeing the ...
