Re: Brakes on Class 455/9 from Steam?
I have just got this addon as part of the heavily reduced PDL and rolling stock pack. Using the keyboard mine goes from 0%-58% and then down. I can use my mouse on the HUD to brake perfectly well, so all is not as it should be I suspect.

I'm coming tomorrow and I'll be looking to drop in on the UKTS and hopefully JT stands too. I'll have my eldest lad with me so it depends how willing he is to let me come over.

Re: Class 57 Rail Tours - Tail Loco Not Functional?
The rear loco on these charter trains are provided for 2 reasons. A backup loco should the loco upfront fail, and to avoid difficult shunting or stock movements at journeys end, particularly termini. Most of the Uk rail network no longer retains the necessary trackwork to perform these maneuvers so ...

Re: Texture advice
Just a first question, how did you go about fixing the mirroring issue with the mapping layout since that's not a child object? How are you applying it to the body if it isn't a decal, what method do you use? Kev That is just currently a scenery object so that I can place it in the Scenario Editor ...

Re: TS2013 - Thanksgiving Special
I'm finally a PDL owner, got the combo deal with 4CIG, 4VEP, 33, 444 and 455. It worked out at over 75% discount, I paid just $33.99 (or just over £21 at todays exchange rate ). Look for Portsmouth Direct Line Collection if you're interested (less than 6 hours left at this price though) Nick Me too...

Re: Texture advice
Just an update to add some more detail on my problem. I've made the texture layer a solid colour throughout and the alpha channel is doing the text shape. See image below - http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8208/8202302588_54193bcb70_c.jpg I look at the .DDS file I created in Photoshop/DXTBmp and previe...

Texture advice
I have progressed along way with my Bombardier livery for 221115 thanks to a huge amount of help and patience from gypbrc . I now have the texture images showing on the decal object properly but I have a problem with how it appears in terms of brightness and/or shading. This is the image in DXTBmp h...

Thanks very much for the reply, it will take me a bit to slowly digest and I can't promise I won't be back requiring more assistance, but we will see what happens first.

Decals and child objects
Does anyone have any experience with these? I have nil, and zero experience of 3DC or Blender. I'm aware I've asked in other threads, but they had other problems discussed which were solved (thanks again to those who helped) and I'm left with this last obstacle to overcome. I've searched here and on...

Re: Help
Well, I've got the basic texture of the livery on the driving vehicles but I am now stuck without being able to do a decal as a child object.

Re: Help
Basically the bodyside texture is flipped I think the problem is, if I've read the OP correctly is that the body side texture has been mirrored enabling colours to be applied on both sides at the same time but any text will appear backwards on one side. Dave Yes Dave, you have read correctly. I ful...
