Okay, I will do that and report back if that makes any changes.speedypete202 wrote:Try placing the 1T or 2T links beyond the entry signal. This is a theory so might not work.

Re: Signalling assistance
The links for the standard semaphores are placed around 2 metres beyond the signal, and if it is a 1T or 2T to cover converging lines then they're also placed about 2m from the joint.

Signalling assistance
As I posted about last night, I'm working on a tweaked and expanded North Somerset Railway route for TS20XX as part of Vulcan Productions. I'm having an issue with some signals that refuse to clear though - they are all semaphore signals and we are using Wherry Lines signals from AP. The ones that d...

Re: Singal link direction
Try placing a signal from the other direction----if you're facing the signal and the link is *wrong* see what happens if you try the placement from behind the signal. Tried that to no avail, but have found a solution, if it places the wrong way then rotate the signal 180 degrees or so and then the ...

Singal link direction
Hello all, I am helping out doing some trackwork in a group and one issue I am constantly encountering is that when I place my signals, the track link direction defaults to being in the wring direction - so for example I want the arrow to point away from the signal, but instead it is pointing toward...

Re: SSS Whitby Pickering route
And a fantastic route it is too! It has no dependencies besides the former default content, and the UKTS Freeware packs, and it's packed with custom assets and signalling! The killer for me is the UKTS Freeware packs, having to tick entire folders with mountains of assets for a fence or two sadly p...

Re: Reworked class 47 coming soon
I know it's popular & it sells, but another 'fleet' of Cl 47's. How about something we have not had. A Class 74, or even DP2. He who can not be mentioned (really...still !!) sold his catalogue to DTG so they should have access to his model, as with the Class 17, Class 22, Class 82. All prime for a ...

Re: Virgin Trains First Generation Pack from DTG
So long as the standard class Aircon Mk2s get the right sized windows I'll be happy, as they've loused it up in the Gatwick Express AND the Scotrail 68 add-on thus far where they taller than the FO which appears correct.

Virgin Trains First Generation Pack from DTG
https://train-simulator.com/locomotive-type-4/
For the speculation on the other loco type included, I'm going with HOST as it would be useful for NWC and Riviera Line scenarios, but 86/7 or 90 could also be seen on the WCML routes too.

Or maybe part of the license deal is new shiny sim and newest shiniest version of GWR livery? Who knows, but I'm sure these things happen.sem34090 wrote:I don't have TSW, but shame they didn't add FGW liveries for the '43 and '166. Maybe GWR wouldn't license them.

Re: AI train limit
I think it could well be, what you can try and do is trim the time that the AI service is in action down. From what myimited understanding is, when you fire it up, all in an instant it is pathing and testing all of the signalling throughout the entire scenario - hence why you sometimes get pathing o...

Re: Train Simulator 2018 - what's included
I would guess TS2018 comes as free to those with TS2017, the new routes I doubt will be free as per previous years. My question is anyone know the release date. Its Thursday tomorrow which used to be a common release day although I have seen November bandied about but nothing official. I have 10 da...

Re: New Patch
A new patch has been released on steam. Download size is around 550 mb. For what I saw the change seem to be: EWS liveried Class 66 and finally wires into Paddington station. With the exception for tracks 1,2 (is that protoypical?) Probably something else but I haven't had the time to check. This p...

It also has red diamonds and TOPS panels that I made for a previous reskin for some additional detail.

Re: At long last AP CLass 56 preview breaks cover
I've no doubt that the sounds are of the usual AP standard and will enhance the experience for users, but of more interest to me is whether the pack removes the cast BR arrows or just paints over them....anybody able to say? I think the arrows appear on a node that contains a lot more items and the...
