What class of loco is this?
Hi I'm thinking about designing a funny looking engine. http://web.ukonline.co.uk/53amodels/ind.htm . Search for the word 'gervase' and you will find two pictures. How can I find the dimensions and performance of this loco? Here's some information that I've managed to find: Originally Manning Wardle...

KRS seems to be perpetually "coming soon". I can't say that I'm excited at all ... I need to see reviews and forum posts after KRS is released. I was very excited about Flight Simulator X. The final product was a frame rate KILLER, with blurred scenery that still hasn't been fixed, ten months after ...

One thing in MSTS-1's favour - it has progressed without help from MS or Kuju. There have been improvements to the models and MSTSbin has expanded the possibilities a little further. That hasn't happened with any of the FS series. With the new high poly, gloss and bump mapped models for MSTS you're...

I hope the following never happens in the Train Sim World: Flight Simulator X was released in October 2006, and everybody was expecting Flight Sim 2004 to become obsolete. FSX has turned out to be a frame rate killer on many average PCs, and some addon developers have quit, due to the difficulties w...

Thanks ... compressing the file fixed the problem!WesternInvader wrote:I think the Andrew Barclay tank crashes because the .S file in the download is uncompressed. Compress the file (with RouteRiter) and it appears OK. The reskinned versions (NCB no.12 and the breweries versions on the Burton Derby CD) are fine.

I'm such a Necroposter :o The dreaded Activity Editor crash only seems to occur with more recent graphics card drivers. AE ran perfectly with Win XP SP2, and in 32-bit display mode. The crashes started when I installed the latest Catalyst drivers for my ATI Card .... :( I promptly reinstalled a 2004...

MSTS, even though the front coupler bug is an unmitigated failure ;). There is so much stock available, and so many routes :) Trainz is very much a train set. I tried it a couple of years ago, but it didn't appeal to me. You know what really bugs me about Trainz? Auran have made it very difficult to...

Adding LODs to objects?
Hello
Is it possible to add LODs to .S files, without having the source file? Many locomotives don't take advantage of LODs, which takes its toll on the CPU. All I want to do is add a single LOD, so that the loco becomes invisible over 1 mile away, thereby freeing up my PC's resources
