Re: Southern/BR Q1 Class
Do you drive manual or the auto controls? For manual its about balancing really the regulator and reverser settings, also if you get a good run up before hitting the sloop it can help a fair bit. I didn't really get below 23mph even on the steeper gradients. Generally you can manage a 1in50 at 100% ...

Re: Acceptable amount of Pay items in a route
I'd like to drop in my comment on the subject of acceptable amounts, I believe entirely that it depends down upon the user of Railworks. Some users will come into Railworks just to play with trains and routes while others will want a broader experience and quite abit more serious abit it. Railworks ...

Re: Southern/BR Q1 Class
I'm not 100% sure since I'm not a steam loco buff, but from the interaction with the game, I believe its a safety valve exshaust of sorts, it so far has trigger for me when the high pitched steam sound cuts in, which is normally when my boiler PSI is getting rather high which I assume is the safety ...

Re: Southern/BR Q1 Class
On a unrelated note to the Q1, or maybe it is related ;). Could you be so kind as to give us a run down of what software packages you use karma to create the model and textures? I'm interested in started to learn from scratch and it would be interesting to see what you use and the costs entailed and...

Re: Southern/BR Q1 Class
Ah, thats some nice information about its loads, its surpising when you look at a Q1 then look at its loads as you mentioned, that its nearly comparably in power to a 9F on load capacity, when I look at the locomotive you think "hm, its abit odd, does she really have alot of power?" then you read wh...

Re: Southern/BR Q1 Class
Ah thats good the bugs have been noticed, no worries if its not ready, better its all working out fine than finding something nasty and have to repair it then re upload files and such. On another note, I'm not super familar with the Q1, I know it was a freight steam locomotive and used heavily in th...

Re: Southern/BR Q1 Class
Btw, I haven't noticed or rather haven't delved to deep I suppose, but is this a payware or freeware release? I don't mind either, the model and texturing is at payware standard so I thought it might be.

Re: Southern/BR Q1 Class
Looking forward to this release, it is quite the ugly duckling of the railway, but you love it so because of it, great job on this.
